We have become the largest importer of finished goods and the largest exporter of raw material. That is the definition of a third world country. We are turning into a oligarchy. This new world economy is a bunch of crap. By signing NAFTA, CAFTA, WTO, GATT and CAFTA we have given our sovereignty away to corporations. take the dolphin safe tuna. It took years to get that into law. With NAFTA, the Mexican fisherman said it was unfair and appealed to the WTO. The WTO ruled in the Mexicans favor. So a organization has the final say over the laws of this country. We can't even build our military weapon systems without importing steel and electronics for them. Even our Border Patrol uniforms are made in Mexico! We need to walk away from all these treaties and go back to the tariff system. That will get our infrastructure working again. And if if nothing else, Bush has showed us that we can walk away from treaties.

You want stop the US from becoming a third world nation! NEVER vote for ANY Democrat or Republican ever again. They have the power and the control so they must bear all the responsibility for thier flagrant mismanagement.
The government has used smoke and mirrors and propaganda to cover their lies. They scream taxes are needed, but Alaska pays their residents about $1000 yr and no state income tax and no sales tax. Alaska has an earth rights system. Earth rights means everything drilled, mined, ect. that comes from the earth belongs to all Alaskan residents and the companies that take the oil, minerals, ores, ect. pay the state for it. The money goes into a fund and the fund pays for state salaries, schools, roads, infrastructure, ect., and pays all 660,000 + residents about $1000 per year.
ALL our elected officials have been bought by big business through lobbiests to the tune of $100,000 each per issue. Every official knows what Alaska is doing but you have never heard any of them talk about paying you and not taxing you like Alaska. They sold their soles and work at flim flaming the public to believe their lies.
If our forefathers were alive today they would lay siege to DC, tar and feather every pollitician, hang them on the steps, and leave them there for all to see what happens to the officials that cheat Americans and sell their soles for $100,000 a pop to big biz!
A patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government.
Edward Abbey
Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves.
Abraham Lincoln
Freedom has its life in the hearts, the actions, the spirit of men and so it must be daily earned and refreshed - else like a flower cut from its life-giving roots, it will wither and die.
Dwight D. Eisenhower

The wealthy do not like a middle class. For thousands of years, there were only three basic classes-wealthy ( royalty,barons)-serfs and slaves.
They are slowly destroying the middle class and soon the class will become the main stay of serfdom.
Slaves will come later.
Think about it. The rich want more wealth and the only lace to get it is from the middle class.
I have no particular political persuasion but it's pretty obvious what's taking place and at a fast clip.

Your lack of understanding of the economics of the situation is staggering.
1) Businesses move because it isn't worth it to them to stay. They get overtaxed, over regulated, over ecology controlled, etc., until they can't make a living and they leave.
2) All the costs of business get passed on TO YOU! It doesn't get solved by magic, or get pulled out of the owner's pocket directly. If someone steals from a company, prices go up. If the government steals from a company (taxes), prices go up. You pay the penalties of companies that get hit by lawsuits.
3) Government represents ALL of us, including our business interests. The only one's left out in the cold are the socialists, who are doing their best to undermine this country any seditious way they can, including lies like this question you have asked, spreading a rumor that is unfounded and untrue.
Amazing how "guilty until proven innocent" has become the method of favor amongst the seditious.
Some of us still have the backbone to call a traitor a traitor. We have free speech, too. Expect us to answer you, every time.

That is just a result of what goverment and big business (and little business) are trying to do. Business is trying to survive; and its hard with American labor rates compared to Chian, Taiwan, and even Japan. In our global economy if our businesses do not obtain cheap labor they will be replaced by companies that do....result for the American worker is the same.
