You really don't have to work. There is sufficient in this world for everyone so that if you did work until you were 40 you could retire for the remainder of your life. The problem is that governments waste much of what we give them to use, their workers steal alot of it and people who own businesses want much more than the workers they hire to make what they sell so after all that is done with you may have to work until you are 65 or 70, then you live for about 2 years and die from overwork.

It's not possible, that system would collapse pretty quickly. There are too many people over 40 and not enough people under 40. At this point there are not really enough people under 65 to support social security. Just look at Europe's crisis with their pension programs. Birth rates are too low, and the baby boomers are too many.

You don't have to. The only thing you actually have to do is die at some point. If you don't want to work over 40, invest your money wisely.

I pose this to you...why is it that people always want other people to take care of them?
I will work way past 40 so I, yes I can take care of my family. I can only hope that I NEVER need other people or least of all that I have to mooch off of the government programs that so many people think is a right to have. We live in a society that promotes LAZINESS!!! GET OFF YOUR ***. STOP LIVING OFF OF MY TAX DOLLARS!!!

because most people live past 80. For example what would happen if when everyone hit 40 they retired? then who would have enough experience to run the counrty?
