I believe you just put a 63 cent stamp on it (That's the rate for a one ounce letter to Canada or Mexico). We send letters to Mexico that way...we don't do anything special to them...actually, my mom sometimes likes to write "AIR MAIL" on the envelope just in case (since 63 cents is the air mail rate).
Here's a link to the US Postal Service website where you can calculate postage:
http://ircalc.usps.gov/default.asp?Mode=Intl_Single&CID=10054
(make sure to select Canada for the destination).

You would have to pay a bit more for the stamp just like we have to pay a bit more to send a letter to NC.

More postage. Canada has a different postal system than the US. Go to USPS.com and look for postage fees outside of the US. It won't be too much more than a regular stamp, but you'll need to put extra postage on it! Good Luck!

It does fee extra to mail some thing to Canada. It _does not_ choose any "particular" stamp. It merely needs adequate postage. the finest element to do - the first time - is to take the article to the post workplace and performance them weigh it and allow you to comprehend the way a lot it is going to likely be. in case you mail a similar variety of merchandise lower back in the destiny, that weighs a similar, then you definately can use a similar quantity of postage in the destiny - - a minimum of till the prices bypass up.

A letter weighing one ounce or less is .63, and it's very important to have "Canada" in the address. It's amazing how much mail is returned because it's addressed in a foreign language and/or doesn't name the foreign country it's being sent to.

There will be a difference in the postage and a Canadian address requires a Postal code. example V2A 2H2.
If you do not have the correct postal code, you can find it at canadapost.com, go there click on postal code then enter the address on the next screen.
