apply no responsibility to Bush?

... they always say "he's doing the best he can"... well that's great... that's like me defending welfare abusers by saying "they are doing the best they can"... which is a horrible excuse in both instances, ESPECIALLY WHEN ONE OF THEM IS THE FACE OF OUR NATION...

if he can't hack it, fire him... just like every good Republican does in the business world every day...

Since we all agree President Bush is the best president ever and ever will be. His credentials speak volumes. He has the highest GPA ever, He is the greatest orator of all time. Not to mention his outstanding military career, and how he single handedly won the Vietnam war, can not call him a coward and yet his a peace loving man that would never fight an unjust war. Not to mention he has never done drugs and let us not forget how the economy has thrived while he has been in office. I could go on all night with accolades about this man...However my question is this whose face should we blow off Mt. Rushmore to put President Bush on now?

So many times, I hear Bush defenders say,"He is a good Christian man." May I ask you why you believe that?

Since I doubt any of you know him in person, it would have to be from what he says right? I've been a christian all my life. I know what you are talking about. He does talk like a christian.

BUT, I ask you... what if you knew that he was hired by his father in 1988 to research the evangelical vote in order to understand our christian terminology in order to win our vote? What if you knew that he went back and stated a person could win the presidency if they knew how to 'talk' to those voters? What if I told you he stated in 1999 that he was going to use that and win governor of Texas?

Would you call him a good christian man then? I wouldn't.

If you don't believe me, go see for yourself: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/..

was 9-11, an act of War and Terrorism (by a Country)?
or, the act of horrific crimes, plotted by Al Qaeda Terrorists and Mastermind Osama bin Laden, who have NO COUNTRY?

Osama bin Laden began a jihad (holy war) in 1987 against Israel; and in 1996 he issued a "declaration of war" against the United States, do you think the Bush Administration fulfilled his expitation by responding as to war?

What do you think in general? Would there have been peace in the middle east by now or would it have become ancient history? This is only a hypothetical question.

Before I start, Please do not repond saying no one knows, and give me Matthew 24:36, "and of that day and hour no one knows"

Of you read your bible it says Matthew 24:33 "when you see all these things, you will know it is near, Even at the doors"

We shall know when its near, just not know the day and hour.

Here Please go hear, I dont have enough room to type it all.

Or should we also "ban" them?? More people die in their bathtub each year than those that get shot. (War excluded)

Meoquitoes kill more people each year than cancer, aids and heart disease combined. Why aren't we doing more to BAN mosquitoes

I believe President George W. Bush is doing a very good job. He is helping the entire world and our country. I know we did not FIND any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, but I believe they were there. At least we got rid of sadam hussane, and have you heard from Osama bin laden, no. Don’t blame the president for the gas prices; our prices are still lower than the rest of the worlds were before president bush. Most of the stuff democrat’s use as evidence to discredit bush is made up or exaggerated. And yes he did have a C average, but it was at Yale. And yes he may have said this about the Constitution: 'It's just a goddamned piece of paper', but sometimes these things can get in the way of what’s right.

when I ask a political question. That's okay - I can live with it (and myself). But I have a different political question. Over the years, it has seemed to me that behind the presidents of the US were their wives doing good and helping different issues. Where has Laura been? I almost forgot her name!!!! Does she do anything or is she a "housewife" now??? I still don't like George Bush and this one isn't about him this time. Maybe if I researched it I could find something she is doing while she's living well. But I don't see much of anything in the paper about her or anything. Anyone else? I know I'll hear 'think for yourself' by the Bush followers/admirers but see, I do think for myself, because I am not listening to you. :) ha ha. Truth is though, I listen to everyone - am very open minded but from all I've heard and read, I still have my beliefs and no matter how much you bash me (I read a lot of the political stuff here so I know the answers) it doesn't matter.

My boyfriend's ex-wife and his 2 children live in Killeen Texas, she wants to give him custody, because she "can't handle them on her own". We live in Florida, they (the children: ages 5 and 9) will be going to school here this year, and by the end of the school year we want to have all the legalities worked out. Since Texas has "jurisdiction" we're not sure how to handle all this. ANY help would be appreciated! Even if it's just a link to a website that could give some answers. Thanks.

This sentence was in the recent ap story on the new budget...

"Impressive corporate profits and big income gains by the wealthy were largely responsible for driving up tax revenues and, in turn, pushing the deficit down."

... now you may talk about "oh they work harder and invest wiser"... that much harder and that much wiser?

It sounds like the government is tilting everything to the advantage of big business and the wealthy... and I think that's going to come from somewhere... prices are on the rise (insurance, gas utilities) while income for the majority is not increasing at the same rate... but I guess that's how they are getting rich?

Feeling terrible that innocent simple people with their normal daily routines are targeted. It doesn't have to be my country but the sight of these people in pain can definitely upset any compassionate person.

Is there really no end to this?
Who is it going to be next?
:(
