Arab countries are the financial center of global Terrorism. They use their oil revenues to fund Islamic terrorist organizations around the world. We can hit out at Global Terrorism by moving on to new, cleaner & technologically superior energy sources such as Hydrogen in fuel cells & encourage their use (Toyota has already developed a prototype & the technology is real & promising). It will reduce pollution, increase efficiency, reduce our dependence on Arab countries & above all hit out at the nerve center of global Terrorism. What do u think?

I went to the P.O. and they wouldn't ship it because their new policy is to ask you if what you are shipping is flammable or not.

Just read the Maine statutes, where it says:

§254. Mutilation

No person shall publicly or openly mutilate, deface, defile, defy, trample upon, or by word or act cast contempt upon any such flag, standard, color, ensign or shield. [1973, c. 262, § 2 (amd).]

Any violation of this section shall be a Class E crime. [1977, c. 696, § 8 (rpr).]

Does that mean that Maine has a provision already about flag desecreation? And if so, can a person burn a flag in let's say Massachusetts, but not in Maine? I'm confused now .... :(

The wrold is slowly dying...we are filling it faster than we are dying. Scientistrs say that we will run out of food to feed the world in 130 years or sooner. Why not do something now. Why is population control such a taboo thing. Are we just going to count on some epidemic? On the appocalypse? On the hand of god?
We need to impliment a sensible long term plan for population control.
It can be slow at first in the US....set an example..Women on welfare with 3 children will be helped with the fourth but she will be sterilized. Women in drug abuse programs that have been caught more than 3 times and is having childern=Nutered,,,,

Maybe its crazy but we have t do something. ...give me some ideas

Is there anyone who is for the right to choose? Meaning abortion, divorce, women in the workplace?!

Where in the hell is this world going, I would like to know that if and when I am ready and I CHOOSE to have children they will have the same rights as I. Why do people feel they have a right to choose for other people? I for one would never persuade someone to have an abortion, quit their job or get a divorce...and I certainly would not judge them if they were to do any of those things. If it involves someone elses life and does not effect me...why should I be bothered enough to say so? I shouldn't and for some reason it just does not bother me. My parents must have done something right, I have enough wisdom to know where my input is needed and where it's not.

regressive philosophy or very redundant political strategy. What do you gain from it? IF YOU ARE A TERRORIST, PLEASE ANSWER- don't worry, no one (at least not me) is going to track you down. But YOUR perspective would be dynamite (no pun intended).
I mean, explain it to me someone. You go out and decimate a
bunch of people, a bunch of totally innocent people, that have nothing to do with you or your cause. So, you incite "terror", "terror"
is created....What does that do but indeed strike terror, temporarily, in the hearts of the survivors and kin- and then, when
the momentary act is over and time passes and the act kind of
fades into the past, THEN where are you? What was accomplished? Oh, you put your signature on it and claimed
responsibility for it? How noble of you, but who cares, except the
people that are hunting you down...You do not advance your cause
or gain any respect for your cause. In fact, what you accomplish is
just another turn in the viscious cycle

Do you believe that everything the usa does in international politics is unjust. We are considered brutish, interlopers, intruders, agressors, and imperalist. Sounds bad. If the U.S.A. were to pull out of every country on the planet and isolate ourselves politically, do you believe that attacks against our country would eventually stop? Be honest. Second part of question is this: Could you live with the knowledge that rulers such as Saddam Hussien and groups such as Al Qaeda are brutally oppressing the basic human rights of the people they govern through fear, cruelty, and murder while we the U.S. sits and does nothing to stop it.

Not every tyrant wants the world for themselves, but the one who does should be stopped?

--Evil wins when good people do nothing.

How do you balance the good we do with the harm that we do. If we make demands on another country then offer unlimited aid everytime there is a disaster. At what point do we stop being humanitarians and become interlopers.

Dad says, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I'm the breadwinner of the family, so let's call me Capitalism. Your Mom, she's the administrator of the money, so we'll call her the Government. We're here to take care of your needs, so we'll call you the People. The nanny, we'll consider her the Working Class. Now your baby brother, we'll call him the Future. Now, think about that and see if that makes sense." So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what Dad has said. Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper. So the little boy goes to his parents' room and finds his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny's room. Finding the door locked, he peeks in the keyhole and sees his Father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed. The next morning, the little boy says to his father, "Dad, I think I understand the concept of politics now." The father says, "Good son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about." The little boy replies, "Well, while Capitalism is screwing the Working Class, the Government is sound asleep, the People are being ignored and the Future is in deep ****."
