Technically, no. Hitler was a dictator, meaning noone could elect him or impeach him. He also had everyone he didn't like systematically slaughtered and took over by force. Bush is a president who was placed in office and afterwards, by some leap of the imagination, was voted back in after everything he did/didn't do. He also cannot do systematic slaughter of everyone he doesn't like. He either just takes their rights or puts them in Guantanamo. As for the whole takeover by force, he only goes after places with oil and anything else he decides he wants.

The main similarities they DO have, however, are visible. They both have mindless followers, both hate the same people*, and both invaded two different countries and started war with them with little to no reason.

Well yes and no...he doesnt attack like Hitler did...Hitler was clear about his intentions and he just attacked everyone...Bush is following a regime, based on capitalism and money, slowly taking over countries, but by using lies and diplomacy. It is clear what his intentions are, but he is dodging criticism using technicality and pretending to have values and pride. He know how to manipulate the average uneducated uninformed American and do his work silently and slowly.
At least Hitler had the balls to say it out loud, and fight like a man...I would say that Bush is the new face of the anti-christ...

Yes, Bush, like Hitler, had the grand idea to convert the world to his beliefs much like Bush wants to convert all countries to democracies. (His definition of a democracy btw)

Bush also much like Hitler believed in using propaganda to manipulate and control the masses.

Bush also is similar to Hitler with his belief in complete executive power that he believes should overpower all other goverment parties = Nazi fascism.

And Bush, once again much like Hitler, wants to exterminate a religion he doesn't agree with. In Bush's case it is Islam.

Hitler was actually much smarter. He had to sell his people with his own nationalism, Bush has speech writers and massive media "spin" machines. I don't think Bush decides what is being done so much as he is breifed on how to deal with the decisions that have been made for him.

The main difference between Bush and Hitler is that Hitler's people supported and admired him....That's about it.

No, but both are fools who initially gained power in a democracy.

I also suspect that the Germans of the 30s were more rational and intelligent than modern day Americans.

So give it time and who knows?

Well, let's see....
Hitler exterminated millions of people based on their religious preferences, even though he was of the same heritage.
Hitler attempted to conquor all of Europe by force, and killed anyone who opposed him.
Hitler was Austrian, and pretending he was German.

Soomehow, I just don't see the connection.

No. Two wars with corresponding "nation building" may be bad, but it's a far cry from a war of annihlation against half of a continent.

That, and he hasn't began the systematic slaughter of every man, woman, and child of any particular unfavored groups as of yet.

All great leaders share certain characteristics. If you're asking whether or not Bush is a fascist dictator, the answer is no.
