was 9-11, an act of War and Terrorism (by a Country)?
or, the act of horrific crimes, plotted by Al Qaeda Terrorists and Mastermind Osama bin Laden, who have NO COUNTRY?

Osama bin Laden began a jihad (holy war) in 1987 against Israel; and in 1996 he issued a "declaration of war" against the United States, do you think the Bush Administration fulfilled his expitation by responding as to war?

Bush's decisions on war have glorified fundamentalists both Christian and Islamic. There are extreme fundamentalist Christians in this country that think starting a war with Islam will bring on the Rapture. There are many fundamentalists including George Bush who have a 10th century mentality of some kind of Holy Crusade. This is just what the fundamentalist Muslims want. They are recruiting fanatics and are probably stronger than before 911.
We're in a lose/lose situation in Iraq. We have fundamentalist Shiites at war with fundamentalist Sunnis. The Shiites who now apparently have the upper hand will most likely be allied with the Shiites in Iran. This is a very dangerous situation.
As far as Bill's comment Bush ignored AlQuaeda in his first six months in office and they did not go away. He seems to be ignoring Osama now and no he won't go away.

9/11 was an act of war based on the fact that the Taliban, who is an arm of the Al Qaeda network, was the ruling party of Afghanistan. That would have made the terrorist attack come from a country.

Osama is the leadership head of Al Qaeda.

Islamic fundamentalist have always hated Israel. They say that true peace will only come when Israel is wiped off the face of the planet and Muslim will rule the Holy Land..

You must not understand what Terrorism actually is to have asked a question like this!

Yea, but there was a country involved, Afghanastan was ran by a group of terrorists using fear and keeping women down. They let Al Gaeda train there and plan things out there.
Why do you think we went into Afghanastan??
Bush was fully justified and highly praised for his decision afterall the asshole Bin Laden killed about 3000 of our people so we had to make him and the government harboring him pay. We brought the fight to him so it doesn't come to America and so far it's working but a stupid move to go to Iraq has completely derailed the whole war and any future support we could've gotten. If Bush stayed the course in Afghanastan we'd have a better standing morally, and our image wouldn't be tainted. Securing Afghanastans government and getting Bin Laden should've been main priority and not some idiot and not dangerous person like Saddam.

I don't know if "glorified" is the correct term. But he certainly has escalated their cause. No other president would ever be as irresponsible as he has been in idle threats, attacks on innocent civilians, and over-generalizations.

The only thing bombing Iraq did was escalate the violence. While I'd hardly condone Al Qaeda's actions, one can easily see why they would take advantage of Bush's stupidity as a great recruitment tool.

Who cares about what the enemy perceives as glory. The President saw the attack for what it was and responded with courage and leadership. We would have been in bad shape had Al Gore been President. The enemy can feel their goal has been fulfilled all they want as long as we respond with vigilance and success. We must prevail by showing the enemy their will be REAL consequences for their actions.

GW's Actions since 9/11 have sent many Rad Muslims to their glory. You'd better hope the war continues in their backyard, instead of yours.

I think it has exposed Islam, not glorified it. Muslim terrorists who are taking up arms against infidels are not country specific. They have never organized as any named entity. It's a very interesting enemy, one that cannot be identified or corralled. With that knowledge, it's impossible to trust anyone in the Islamic faith.

well it would help if Bush "cared" where Osama was...

how the H*LL DO YOU KILL 3,000 IN DOWNTOWN NYC IN THE BIGGEST BUILDING IN THE WORLD AND GET AWAY WITH IT?

I guess the president and the public just have to be stupid enough to not have any clue who attacked them...

We should have pretended he wasn't there and then he would have gone away.
