How through are military background checks for enlistment? Is there really any way to hide anything with internet background checks on insurance listings? Is there a way to exspunge something off of your record?

I know you can retire after 20 years service, but what about reservist? Would anything happen if you were in the Reserves for 20 years, or is it just Active Duty?

If you were a reservist for 4 years, and then switched over to Active, would you be able to retire in 16 years or another 20?

I know that there are some mental illnesses that can disqulify you from military enlistment. I personally went through a breif bought of circumstancial depression after my friend died (about a year ago), which unfortunatly leaves me with a record of hospitalization.

Does anyone know anyone in my situation that has worked around this regulation and how they did it? It has been my deam to be in the army since I was a kid, and I'll do anything I can.

This is the 21st century for God's sake; shouldn't he (or anyone else who decides that they believe that the war in Iraq is illegal) have ben smart enough to do his homework before he jumped in head first to a commitment that he wasn't ready to abide by?

Ok, so for this dumb social studies project I have to find the ABC's for the revolution. I have every letter except...

E, H, K, U, Z, X

Can anyone help me? All those letters have to start the word. The only problem is, with names the letter has to start on the first name and NOT the last. X is an exception and the letter X could just be contained in the word (same with Z). I would really appreciate you help! Just please make sure this stuff comes from the years 1774- whenever the revolution ended. Thank you!

Why do the right wingers keep up with the myth that there is a war on Christmas? Its something Bill'O made up keep his ratings up. If you really think that there is a war on Christmas and that Liberals wont say, just how much of a kool-aid drinker are you?

By the way Merry Christmas.

So often on here, on the news, just listening to other people in general, someone always has to try to say how service members and Iraqi civilians feel about the war. Yet most of these people have never stepped foot passed the safety of their living room.
Let me help you out
1"They all hate us over there" or "They all want to kill us"
No they dont, on either accord. If that were the case we would still be in all encompassing war, not helping rebuild. Stop basing your opinions off of FoxNews and CNN.
If I were to base my opinion of the US off of the news than I could say that all Americans want to go to into public places and shoot people, because that is all you see on the news.
2"Most service members are against the war"
Really? Try saying that in front of a Battalion of our countries fines and see how far it gets you.
3"Nothing is going right in Iraq"
No, the news just doesnt report the countless schools and other successful humanitarian projects.

Thank you for your time.

Quite frankly, I think President Bush should have shut out the press when such traitors as michael moore, cindy sheehan, and the liberal media alike started their shameful attack on our Country and the sitting President in a time of war. It's disgraceful and you do not deserve AIR let alone air time!

I asked earlier about regs for females with longer hair. I was advised to look at a few sites on sock buns for quickly putting up long hair; however, I don't see a single person with hair as long as mine -- several inches past my hips -- is this too long, or have people gotten through everything -- especially PT and showers -- with hair that long.
