President Harry S. Truman ordered that Fat Man and Little Boy (the two atomic bombs) be dropped on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. I consider President Truman's actions in this matter totally proper. The Japanese deserved to have the atomic bombs dropped on them. (YES!!!) I only regret that we did not drop an atomic bomb on the Imperial Palace in Tokyo and kill that cowardly scum Hirohito. We also should have nuked Kyoto because that city is sacred to the Japanese. And finally to Speedy, whose great-grandfather died at Hiroshima, I can only say that your great-grandfather was a cowardly scumball who probably commited atrocities at Nanking, and he deserved to fry.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17458405/?GT1=9145 Read this and you will be horrified. I myself have witnessed the lack of care in the veterans hospitals. (Seeing my dad recieve substandard care, but he can afford no other and does not qualify for medicaid. Income is $100.00 a month two much. A family of two can only recieve $1200. a month, with out doing a spend down. Which is $6000.00 in six months. Dispicable.

On the Service Alpha uniform, where exactly does the tie clasp go by regulation? Does it go between the third and forth button or is it aligned with the center of the shirt pockets? Thanks!

I heard today about the scandal involving substandard care at Walter Reed Hospital. However, I recal hearing about a year ago that Walter Reed was going to be shut down and its patients transfered to Bethesda? Does anyone know if Walter Reed is still slated to be closed? Or, did I perhaps misunderstand the news reports, and it was never slated to be closed in the first place? If it's going to be shut down, how much longer will it take? Any information anyone has would be appreciated.

Please note that I am looking for information more so than opinions.

Sheeple People who refuse to accept the fact that the U.S. Government had their hand in the Terror Attacks of 911 are just plain ignorant. It's impossible for Jet fuel or Kerosene to melt iron...LOOK AT THE PERIODIC TABLE OF ELEMENTS. Also if the floors collapsed causing a chain reaction it would have taken well over 90 seconds for the buildings to come down. They came down at free fall speed....9 seconds. There is no logical argument here. Explosives were pre-planted in the building. Case closed! Some idiots will argue that the fires were raging hot inferno’s...however if that was the case then why were there people standing in the holes where the planes impacted waving for help? Their clothes weren’t even burnt. Here we are talking about the biggest crime scene in the history of the United States...and what did Guilani do?
He scooped up all the evidence and got rid of it as fast as he possibly could. Sent overseas to be recycled? I doubt it...my guess is they dumped it all in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

Hi, I am a mom of 2 little girls (3 years and 4 years old) and a wife of a former USN Sailor thinking about joining the USAF-hubby says he thinks I'd be great at it. Both my hubby and I miss the bene's and the financial stability the military offers. How likely is it I'll get shipped off if I join? Are there enlistment billets that I can fill that stay state-side? (what's the equivilant of Yomen in the AF? and would I be more likely to stay state-side with this job?) Please answer only if you have AF experience or other military experience. Thanks in advance!!

Who requested America or gave them the rights to invade and attack other countries to establish democracy and human rights there? Killing thousands of innocent civilians in Vietnam and Iraq to establish democracy? Nuking Japan during 2nd World War and killing thousands of Japanese civilians (most of them are women and children) for ‘peace’? What is the American definitions of democracy and peace?

For the past few months I have watched on the news of protestors marching and complaining about everything. It appears that the people does not have what it takes to win a war. The people are so weak minded to see that the media and the democrats are showing us all the bad things that are happening, instead of all the accomplishments we have been achieving. this is all part of their scheme to get control of America and weaken us. The people are becoming a problem and standing on a point of weakness, not strength. we are America, we should want nothing less than victory. what is going on with the people? If our founding fathers had anything to say, they would support victory, not retreat. they would want us to succeed not fail. why has the people forgotten the desire to win? we should stop at nothing to succeed.

I got out of the army back in october 2005 due to pregnancy, wish I had never gotten out, but anyways, I did have an article 15 in basic where they revoked my ranked and deducted money from my pay and 2 weeks extra duty. Well I also got one in ait but it wasn't as serious i had my cell phone in formation and it went off all I got was 14 days extra duty. My question is i applied for the kansas city police department and i told them about my article 15s the first one was the bad one and I know it looks bad, but does it stay on your record after u leave there? I was told it wouldn't follow me, how would I check to see if it is still there? Thank you for taking the time to read this.

My husband is in the Marine Corp and was just promoted to an E-2. In the end of May towards June, I will be moving down to Quantico, VA and I would like to know how what kind of housing are we eligible for? Does it depend on age and rank? Cause we are both 19. Is there a possibility we could get on base housing, and how nice are the areas and homes?

Thanks for the help!!!
