Why, if the fact that you served in Vietnam on you DD214 record, is it necessary to prove to a 30 year old PhD, that what you had seen has come back to haunt you. How can they know what you are experiencing and why? This only occurs if you ask for a disability to help with the costs of medication and therapy so you can continue on with your life not terminaly depressed.

Is it a war crime if our soldiers murder members of the enemy force? I know that harming innocent civilians without probable cause constitutes a crime, but do laws also protect enemy soldiers? That wouldn't make sense, would it, because isn't killing the enemies one of the primary objects of war?

These heroes strapped themselves on the sides of 2 Apache helicopters, which are not designed to carry passengers, to return to a vicious firefight, in order to rescue a fallen comrade. And Succeeded!! In the very best traditions of the British Forces. I salute all concerned.!

It is NOT about oil . It is about religon. When was the last time you heard a Lutheran just blew up a Baptist church? Condi is visiting countries, talking to heads of state where she would not even be eligible to have a drivers licence. Good job GI's bad job government. Come home.

This is a bill proposal I am currently working on that would give any military personnel (18-20yr.) the rights of any U.S. citizen of the age 21+. These rights would include:
1. The right to legally carry a concealed personal firearm off base.
2. The right to go to clubs
3. The right to go to casinos
4. The right to drink.

Some people believe that U.S. Military personnel already have these rights, however that is not true. In the 1960's MADD passed a bill stating that all military bases must "follow the law of the land". Therefore you can’t drink under the age of 21. Also only in a few states at the age of 21 are you allowed to carry a concealed firearm at age 21. And since most clubs and casinos serve alcohol anyone under 21 is not allowed in. I believe that the people fighting for our rights deserve our rights. Please give me your input on my "proposal” I already have a local House of Representative behind me, however I need to get a few more before a bill will be written

Many small businesses are run by Reserve Military duty personnel and with long deployments and return deployments their business suffers if it is a Micro-Business (less than 10 employees).

Why is it considered a sin in the United States to criticize the military? Like they can do no wrong... from screwing over their own people to killing innocent civilians in their own county (While on leave/liberty) to killing innocent civilians in Iraq or else where, under "The Fog of war" excuse.
Also not to mention, fellow servicemen sexually assaulting fellow servicemen and women.
Some weaker people joining the military and being bullied and abused physically and sexually by other servicemen, Is that in your various services creeds? Is "I will sexually assault weaker Soldiers, sailors, Marines and Airmen to weed out the weak ones" - Is that a US Military value?

and he's been acting really cold and distant from me the past two weeks. Like EXTREMELY! He'd pull away from me when I'd try to touch him...he'd be really short with me and pick fights and put me down and call me really bad names.. He got a room in the barracks and actually didnt come home for a few nights here and there. When we went back home to CT for the weekend he dropped me off at my parents place and didnt talk to me or see me till they day we left.
I'd call my mother and friends and cry to them every night because I was so hurt...
And just last night he started being nice to me again.. He says he acted like that because he was nervous about the deployment... but what he did was overkill...I feel like Im letting him off the hook because Im blowing it off like it didnt really bother me and being nice back to him because he leaves wed...
But what's the deal?? I totally dont know whats going on with him or us, or if I believe the 'I was just nervous' ploy...What am I to do???

In the news recently Iran has refused to back down on their nuclear program, they have launched several missiles, America said it rules no action out. So my question is this how long will America and other countries tolerate it? If they do go to war what will happen?

When we actively protest against a war, our enemies see that we are divided and are strengthened by this knowledge. At home, anyone who disagrees with the war, after the fighting begins, is considered unpatriotic, or worse, a traitor.

We are fighing for Democracy. Democracy is the freedom and the right to choose for ourselves what is right and what is wrong. It is the freedom and right to speak freely to those around us and try to convince them to support what we support.

I believe that it is a moral obligation to speak out against what we believe is wrong, even if doing so is unpopular. Abraham Lincoln did it. Martin Luthor King did it. But what I want to know is, "How can I be a responsible American without being branded UnAmerican:?

One more thing:

How can wars end if noone is allowed to speak out against them?
