Quite simply put yes. Although it started out with the best intentions of uniting the world under a common law of nations, human nature has undercut this organization. There are just too many regimes worldwide that either do not respect the UN or use it and its resources for their own gain with no regard for fellow nations. I believe that the UN will be completely ineffective in dealing with non nation entities such as Hezbollah and Al-Qaida now and in the future. These rogue elements are the enemy in this world war raging now, that the UN seems powerless to stop. Nor does it even acknowledge that this war is taking place. With its massive bureaucracy and corruption the UN cannot move decisively in the ever changing political landscape of the 21st century.

yes. it has long outlived it's usefulness. it is terribly corrupt and run by people who hate the united states. the u.s. contributes billions to it so that countries that we have aided since world war 1 to the present can tell the rest of the world how overbearing and heavyhanded we are. why do tens of thousands of people try desperately to come to America each year? we make it easy, while many other countries make it almost impossible to immagrate. i could tolerate the u.n. if it was located in another country.
