Some one sent me the following joke:

Q. What's the difference between the Vietnam War and the Iraq War?

A. George W. Bush had a plan to get out of the Vietnam War.

Although not being from the USA I always thought that Bush had a military background.

I know that Bill Clinton wasn't a military man, but I always thought that Bush was.

Am I wrong ?

I'm just wondering if an Officer gets tired of saluting back when saluted.
I'll salute an Officer no matter what b/c I respect them but I asked myself if i'd get tired of it if I were your shoes & I wasnt sure if I would or not.

During the Civil War only France backed the CSA. If they had waited until today how many countries would have backed the war? And where would the Mason-Dixon Line have been drawn?

He said that war is too important to be left to the generals. When he said that, 50 years ago, that may have been true. But now, war is too important to be left to the politicians. They have neither the time, the training, nor the inclination toward strategic thought."
