why do we persist in getting involved with every troublespot on the planet? we should take a leaf out of the majority of other countries and look after number 1,its not as if they are grateful when we try to help.Look at Iraq! people that the soldiers are trying to help are throwing stones at them!! get the soldiers out and leave them to it...come on do gooders have your say!!!!

or on the front lines. You are all doing your part and regadless of my opinions on the war, I am still proud of you all for serving.
Now for the question: Could you all tell me what made you decide to go in? Was the war going on at the time you signed up? Did you decide what to do i.e. computers, flying planes, ect or did the service choose it for you?
And in my opinion you are so brave just for doing what you do. Regardless of which branch you are in.
My husband was in the Army and served on the border of Germany and Checkozlavakia(if I spelled that right) with guns pointed at him every day! I know I could never take that!

There are Sunnites in the central part of the country which long since operated Iraq and which are not measured to reconcile to the subordinated position. And here still near by so hopeless war in Afghanistan against mythical Al-Qaeda and quite real "Taliban". For today losses of army of the USA in Iraq and Afghan have exceeded number of victims of acts of terrorism on September, 11th, 2001. Democrats have seized Bush not from excessive pacifism (in fact aggression against Yugoslavia was untied by democrat B.Klinton). It is important to them to get rid of republicans. And they will do about the same to try to keep behind themselves Iraq and as a whole the Near East (though and a little bit other methods). The policy of America is dictated with interests of its monopolies. And they, these interests, depend on color of the party membership card of the gentleman sitting in the White house a little.

We are very much in love, both in our mid 20's, and ready to start a life together. He wants to join the navy. The benefits sound great, but I am scared to change our lives completely.
