Can they read this? I want to say to them how they amaze me. They are taking on the most powerful nation on earth and they are only a rag tag group of men but they are putting the hurt on the USA day in and day out. In short.....They are beating the USA. They are winning just like the North Vietnam soldiers did years ago in Vietnam. Once again we are going down in defeat. We will lose and then cut and run. Defeat is coming in the next two or three years.

He's stationed at Selfridge ANG Base and he said the Iraq war will not be won the way we are fighting the war. It will end up like another Vietnam. He also stated the war was based on lies and the USA was wrong to go into Iraq. "We are getting our butts handed to us everyday in Iraq" he said.

The "Iraqi Army" is a misnomer. The government's military consists of Iraqi units integrated into the U.S.-commanded occupation army. These units rely on the Americans for intelligence, logistics, and -- lacking almost all heavy weaponry themselves -- artillery, tanks, and any kind of airpower. (The Iraqi "Air Force" typically consists of fewer then 10 planes with no combat capability.) The government has no real control over either personnel or strategy.

I am not really sure I follow. Hezbollah sounds like a terrorist nation to me? Is it going to take the US to step in and turn them off? I hear this may be a good enough reason to destroy that psyco president and Iran while we're at it? Are we planning on stepping in soon? Will it be a USA thing, or a United Nations thing? Arent we the biggest milatary force in the United Nations?

The Iraqi government told the world ( The new Iraqi Government ) that life in Iraq is harder now than it was under saddam. So to all the war supporters here "Please tell me again how wonderful the war is in Iraq".

Iran has just rejected the Russian and EU proposals regarding its nuclear programme.
Syria's role in that region has often be criticized by Bush and Israel.
I am more interested to know what people think will happen than what they think shoud happen.

Bush's ratings are super low with the Iraq war..They are likely to be even lower without it as he is a lame duck when it comes to domestic politics.

In a most recent press conference Bush claims that if we were to leave Iraq now it would be a mistake and leave America less secure? How and why is the big question. Prior to invasion Iraq was in no position to attack the U.S. Nor did they have the desire to as they did not want to go to war with the U.S. They are even less able to attack the U.S. now..Theyve had democratic elections and Saddam is in jail. What more can our presence accomplish. Even with 150,000 troops on the ground we cannot stop sectarian violence. A prolonged presence isnt likely to cure this situation. At this point I am of the opinion that Iraqi security will have to fill the void left by U.S. troops..until that void is made they will have no incentive to provide for their own security. Plus, Iraq security in my opinion has little to do with our safety. Stop the burn..save millions..save U.S. soldiers..Why is it unpatriotic to bring our troops victoriously home??

Today President Bush just stated that he did not send troops to Iraq because of the 9/11 situtation. You know, when the planes were used as missiles to attack the US of A. I thought that we were at war because we were redirecting what was done to us to those that had some relation to 9/11. Bush clearly stated that it wasn't the attack on the US that we went to Iraq, but because of the WMD that are troops was sent. Which lead to the freeing of Iraq's people, which is now staying in Iraq untill the job is done. How does this make you feel? Did we loose focus? What is the job?

Between the guy I'm dating (who's a Marine and totally against me joining) and all the hype the recruiter gives you, I am beginning to find myself at a loss. I get, "it's hard," "it's the best," "depends on who you are," "you can do it." I need to know more! I need to know more than tid bits about basic, I need to know what it's like when you get out. No one will tell me! HELP!

Will they just send him home, or can he just leave if he decides its not for him? What is the protocol? Also, does anyone know over how long a period of time they pay him the 'sign up bonus'? They said it's 30k..is that true? Does he get it all upfront or over a period of time. Thanks--He's leaving this Thursday!!

Why are we having such a hard time finding terrorist training camps? Didn't Bush say we were looking for them and other terrorist operating sites? I mean during the cold war we didn't have too much trouble finding nuclear sites. Now we have even more advanced technology like high powered satilites and crazy spy planes. So why haven't we found what we're looking for? We should also be able to find Bin Ladin. Is it because they are hiding in caves? What do you think?

U.S. vs. THEM
America's solution to EVERYTHING is to "BOMB THEM"

I think this is because America is isolated on the globe and needs to resort to Air Power and naval bombardment to "get her point across".

For example, America bombed Serbs for 70 f*ckin days !
We dropped so many bombs we had to go back to the factory to make more !!!
And we used the good sh!t on them too!!!

I don't mean to sound unpatriotic because I love America. However, I feel that with Neocons and right wing retards in power who are WARHAWKS - actively supporting and perpetuating wars that kill MORE INNOCENTS than TERRORISTS that something is seriously wrong with America's government right now.

America's war in Iraq has resulted in over 230,000 people
dead (FAR MORE than SADDAM KILLED - He's on trial for around 10,000 deaths)

When does America's unprovoked militarism end?

We "accidentally" kill lots of people. Does that make us better or worse than terorists?

that Pres. Bush said they "found no weapons of mass destructiun" in Iraq? Why would the Pres. lie to the public about this? For those who have followed this issue closely, you know Saddam had the bulk of his WMD flown to Syria shortly before the invasion took place. The documents to prove this were handed over by the former Gen. in charge of the Iraqi air force. The info can be verified by satalite tracking data from N.O.R.A.D.
Is it possable that Iran now has some, if not all, of this material in thier possesion? Wouldn't that explain why Iran has become a greater blip on the N.S.A threat radar?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering, if my brother is an air winger and never even locked and loaded his rifle, never saw anything remotely traumatizing,(he told me this when I talked to him on the phone a few weeks ago) Why would he still have to go
through a debreifing to see if he is suffering from PTSD? Is there more to these "counseling sessions that I don't know about?

I am so proud of my brother I have taken a second job so that I could pay for a homecoming that will cost me about $1500. (40 porterhouse steaks and 40 lobsters).

Thank you all for your answers and welcome home
