The war supporters are only going to believe what George W. bush and Dick Cheney say. No matter what the facts are you aren't going to change their minds. They all support spilling other peoples blood for their beloved conservative Republican cause.

And that's news? Everyone I know of that has spent time in Iraq can tell you the same thing. Women's rights are almost none existent. Whereas under Saddam, they could hold cabinet level positions, drive, wear western style clothing, divorce their husbands, and work; now they have lost most of those rights.
That's one example of how well our bringing democracy to Iraq has worked.
And for those that go off about CNN not being a real news network, don't EVEN think about bringing Faux news into it. They're still waiting for the Iraqis to start throwing flowers at our feet and giving us oil for free in way of thanking us from delivering them from Saddam.

A harder life does not necessarily mean a worse life. I agree that war sucks, but we all need to take the media, as a whole, for what it really is, a bits n pieces information outlet. CNN - Democratic and FOX - Republican. Neither one is any better than the other, just like this country, the media is divided too.
Personally, I don't think we had any business over there in the first place. Georgie is only trying to ensure he corrects his father's mistakes from the Gulf War. I'm not saying he's right nor am I saying he's wrong. I don't know the full story because I am not there.

Sure it's 100 times harder when you finally discovered what democracy is. And you are right, when Saddam was president or should I say the Dictator of Iraq there were no conflicts between Shite and Sunni Muslims, there was also no freedom of press, no satellite TVs, etc., etc. Yes you are right, when Saddam was Dictator of Iraq there was no problems, because of someone said something or did something they were executed. Yes you are right, when Saddam was Dictator those who supported him received privileges, those who opposed him were executed. And when Saddam was Dictator of Iraq, there was no media covering every thing the people did or what are soldiers are doing. Because when Saddam was Dictator his eldest son raped any girl he choose to, killed who he wanted to.
Yes life was......under the rule of a dictator!
Oh, by the way...When we plowed the fields in an early America, and fought the French in the French-Indian War life was good, but when the King of England taxed us, took property away from us, and we became oppressed by the English Army....we learned to fight, and we eventually destroyed the English Army...then we enjoyed freedom. When the people of Iraq realize what they want, what democracy is, and cut out all the hate that has built up between the Shites and Sunnis..life will be great in Iraq.
War is great. It frees people from oppression, employs millions of defense conractors, promotes soldiers, increases their pay, gives more chances to lead and advance....and by the way, I sleep good at night knowing I killed terrorist.
And by the way CNN shows what they want you to see, not what really is going on.

Bad news sells. Iraq has increased migration to the country, a high birthrate, increased electrical use and will probably end up with a less corrupt goverenment.

Without reading them, I'm going to guess that most of the answers to your question involve calling cnn a network of liberal lies.

THEIR LYING!!! how can they know if it's worse??? (they only LIVE there, that wouldn't qualify them to know the TRUTH would it?)
We'll just shoot the ones that don't like it!! Our reporters are imbedded with the military- they are not allowed to report truth like that! therefore it couldn't true...could it?
ROFL!!!
(sorry for my cynicism...it really isn't funny at all)
