well my hubby is army so we live on post but there is a nice air force base in Germany,"Frankfurt Germany" check it out...... i like living in Germany, don't speak German but i like it here
also texas is a great state..... some afb in texas are sheppard afb"north of wichita falls", dyess afb" abilene", goodfellow afb"san angelo", brooks afb "san antonio", that's all the bases in texas i can think of...... i love san antonio great place to live if you don't mind taking forever to get to one place... but lots to do.... san angelo is great small like abilene.... i just love texas!!!!!!!

i *think* they do c-17's out of aviano AFB in itally. I LOVED spending time in itally when i was at ramstein, and i totally want to take an assignment to aviano if i ever get the chance. I've never met anyone who didnt like northern italy or aviano either. Good luck in choosing.

McGuire AFB in New Jersey. Northern Burlington City is nice and it is close to the base.
