The problem is that mullahs of Iran are supporting almost all terrorist actions in Iraq financially and logistically. Above all, certain brigades from Revolutionary Guards of Iran and Iran's ministry of intelligence are there and perform the terrorist actions. Unfortunately US made a big mistake and in action bestowed the power to the Shiite mullahs of Iraq. If US leaves Iraq, the shiite groups will gradually destroy the other parties ( secular ones) and get the full power totally and you would see a new copy of Iran's brutal religious regime in Iraq. I feel great sadness whenever I hear US soldiers are killed in Iraq just to have ousted Saddam and bestow the government to Shiite bastard brutal mullahs but if US wants to do something should remain in Iraq and face terrorists and at the same time must attack Iran and destroy mullahs' regime. With mullahs of Iran in power you never see the color of peace in this region.
God bless US soldiers.

You wouldn't be bringing the soldiers victoriously home. They'd leave and a civil war would break out from the Shia Deathsquads. I think that the US presence there does in fact deter a lot of violence. Just because there's still some, doesn't mean there wouldn't be more. Also, if the country fell to Civil War it would be come a safe haven for terrorists. They would have a place to build up there arms and make their plans with no military presence trying to stop/kill them. There may be a time that we must admit the Iraqis just are unable to accept a democracy, but I don't think we're there yet.

Yes we should pull out and run. That way the terrorist can say they have beaten the great American war machine. Their recruiting would go up 1000%. They would have a place to set up lots of training camps and would be able to launch attacks on the U.S. with in 9 mo. To a year. Their not very good at fighting soldiers but as we all seen on 911, they are good at killing civilians. They could be killing Americans by the 1000s. I’m sure we all want our families to be in danger and not just the people of Iraq. We can fight them in the streets of America or the streets of Iraq.

I don't know about Victoriously. I served in the first Gulf War and believe that we did that for the right reasons. This war has been based on lies, its not win-able and its time to leave the country.
The sad thing is that Bush is partially right, leaving now would not leave our county safer because Bush has managed to increase the amount of terrorist recruitment in the middle east.
Armybrat.....get a clue. Iraq did not attack us. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11

Leaving Iraq now would leave the Iraqi citizens open to attack from Iran. They have been bitter enemies for years due to Saddam and Iran would take complete advantage of a nation without defense. If you haven't noticed they are already lining up at the border to invade Iraq or to fight retaliation to their "light up the sky" promise. Besides that point, it is just wrong to pulverize a country and leave it without helping fix it back up. Pulling out now would be a disaster, no doubt.

No.
It wouldn't be a mistake.
Extant technologies now in place and generally disavowed to a surrealistic level ( non nuclear ) renders any country in possession of same well capable to defend against any outside aggression.
Nuclear arms complement insure that fact. The only weak point is from within. The more corrupt the nation, the greater the likelihood of an inward fall.
If concommittant ( the corrupt underbelly operative in every community ) leaves the fallen state seeking places of haven in other countries, the likelihood is they won't be exempt from consequence.
The corrupt ... make more enemies than they are aware of.

These men are dying to give the iraqi's freedom, if we left now there deaths would have been for nothing, another saddam would take over, women would be treated as animals and the people of Iraq that are glad we are there and want us to win don't want us to go, what would it look like if we just left them? but if we stay and win, it will change the world, the US has never been a selfish society

When the United States replaced the government in Iraq the US became responsible for the success or failure of that government. Bailing out on that government is telling every nation in the world that they cannot depend on the United States to honor vows of friendship and protection. The US has an ethical obligation to the people of Iraq to see the conflict through. It's our mess, we have to clean it up before we go.

Unless you want to go back over in 5-10 years and face 5-10 times the problems we have now,
we need to take care of things now.

Well we have painted ourselves into a corner. If we just bail it would be considered a victory for Isamic extremest.
If we would go ahead and lay waste to Iran, and Syria we could come home.
