If Oprah was a general of an all-female army of rebels in a world devastated by Nuclear warfare, would you join her cause? Basically, the world as we know it is gone. Cities have fallen and there is no electricity. Erratic storms ravish any human settlement that manage to form. People are desperate and hungry. Cannibalism, rape, and murders are rampant among the people. Will you, as a woman, join a spear-wielding, Amazonian Oprah for her cause to protect the women and children? Will you grab crude weapons and charge with Oprah down a thunderous post-Apocalyptic Los Angeles street and erradicate the horrid armies of murderers, thieves, and rapists? Will you echo her war-cries and become instilled with berserking rage when she lets out her Earth shaking howls?

6 Marines charged in Iraq assault By Tom WATKINS, Associated Press

SAN DIEGO - An investigation into the death of an Iraqi civilian has led to assault charges against six Marines accused of injuring civilians in the village of Hamdania in April, officials said.

Three of the men are already being held on murder charges in the death of 52-year-old Hashim Ibrahim Awad, an Iraqi civilian. Military officials said Thursday the assaults were uncovered during an investigation into the slaying.

A seventh Marine, an officer, is expected to be charged next week in the assault case, said Lt. Col. Colby Vokey, the Marine Corps' defense coordinator for the western United States.

The nature of the assaults was described as brutal. The Marines said it was the American way.

Charged Thursday were Lance Cpl. Saul H. Lopezromo, Pfc. Derek I. Lewis, Lance Cpl. Henry D. Lever, Sgt. Lawrence G. Hutchins III, Cpl. Trent D. Thomas and Lance Cpl. Jerry E. Shumate Jr., officials said.

If their goal is to be a martyr, why do they rely on guerilla tactics? The leaders always run and hide in holes, caves, and underground shelters. Why can't they be men and actually lead the charge like a hero would. I'm just curious because that is the message they are portraying to the arab/muslim community yet their actions are those of a pussy. (Again sorry I had to use that term but that's what I think of them.)

The American governmet is guilty of funding and supporting terrorists for years, as long as it suports America's agends.

Osama Bin Laden was trained and funded by the CIA to fight the Russians. Now he is labled a terrorist. Saddam Hussein was funded by the American government to fight the Islamic uprising in Iran. Now Saddam is called a tyrant. The Camron Rouge in Cambodia was funded by the American governemt to fight the VC in Vietnam. Now history tell us that the Camron Rouge was responsible for wide spread massacres of the Cambodian people. In present day Afghanistan, the Americans have funded the Notrthern Alliance and local Warlords to fight the Taliban knowing that these people are just as guilty as the Taliban for human rights abuse and death. America funds and supports an Illegal occupation in Palistine and we all know of the widespread killings that ocurr there. America has a 'fight fire with fire" mentality. Remember that if you play with fire you will get burned (ie 9/11)

After Osama's support of the team that orchestrated the September 11th disaster, the United States was prompted to attack Iraq. Osama Bin Laden wasn't even IN Iraq at the time. Apparently, Osama Bin Laden had and has not yet EVER BEEN in Iraq.

After failed policies related to the war in Iraq, one after the other, denials of Iraq being in a civil war, more that 2400+ US soldiers killed and more than 10,000+ seriously injured personell, wasn't it about time?

I really don't want to hear "it's politically motivated" (I don't care). Doesn't incompetance speak for itself?
