There is a lot of truth in your question. Problem politics and changing foreign policy. Foreign policy is the sole responsiblity of the President, thus changed every four to eight years with change in president and cabinet. New on the job and having limited access they bring new ideas to the table, and off we go with some new policies??? Some of the problem could be eliminated, maybe, if a commitee in congress shared forming foreign policy and any policy or change would have to be approved by the committee. How about Commitee of foreign affairs?? Whatever it seems apparent there are problems.

Pretty much all countries have held the mentality of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" at some point in history. Its a necessary evil that nearly all sovereign nations must deal with. Until we get a magical "make nice" button that instantly solves all problems this will never stop. Sorry, friend, but your views seem extremely biased. Next time, instead of simply trying to spread propaganda you should honestly consider the situation with an open and understanding mind, but then again if we all did that there wouldnt be war in the first place, would there?

Terror is the base of "Deterrents" ...... and the US government always has used political deterrents ...... especially when it wants to manipulate the governments of other countries. We have funded countless assasignations of their political and business leaders, rigged elections and stirred up violent racial and cultural angers. The sad fact is that The School of the America's have trained most of the terrorist leaders of our world.
Our government knows that words have great power for change and is an expert in the use of words ... they call it shaping the enemy rather than bombing ..... spreading democracy rather than empire building ......... those that oppose US goals terrorists rather than freedom fighters.
The answer to your question is that most people in the USA do not care about "police actions" that take place in third world countries as long as the stock market continues making them a lot of of money from the exploitation third world labor forces and natural resources.

Since you've done so much research about how corrupt the American Government is, why don't you do some research on what our enemies had done. Let me give you a start...
The Soviet Union supported Ho Chi Minh and the Communist North Vietnam. Our history book are trying to write him as a noble enemy. However, Ho Chi Minh killed thousands of his own people while he was alive. I'm not talking just South Vietnamese either, I'm talking about NORTH Vietnamese, whom many that were killed were staunch supporters of Ho Chi Minh.
After the war ended, the Vietnamese communists killed tens of thousands of South Vietnamese citizens for no reason other than living in the South during the war. Hundreds of thousands more were thrown out of their houses with nothing but the clothes they wore.
Long story short, enemies of America can be just as corrupt and more corrupt as the American government. The differnce is our freedoms reveal our faults, while our enemies can supress their faults.
It is our right and duty to question our goverment, and we can do this without fear of reprisal. Our own media regularly depict the bad things about our country, while media in other parts of the world could only dream of having such freedom in their own countries.
Ho Chi Minh KILLED his loyal friends for simply disagreeing with him. Saddam Hussein KILLED members of his own family for doing the same. Stalin KILLED more Russians than Hitler killed jews. After the Vietnam War, you can be arrested and imprisoned for speaking English in Vietnam.
I respect the information you've collected concerning America's hypocracy in world events. Our government has done some very bad things that cost many lives. You still need to question if we're really that bad, because America is not the only country guilty of hypocracy. We're just too stupid to lie well enough to get away with it.

Did you ever hear the expression, "you have to fight fire with fire"?
If you don't fight the bully, he continues to bully. Even if you lose, the bully will think twice before attacking you again.
We founded this country for personal rights and human dignity. The terrorists want to enslave the world to religion and servitude.
We have to fight to survive.

I agree with all but the illegal occupation in Palestine. It's not illegal. The Israeli's fought for this land and won it fair and square. Otherwise yes, the Americans support terrorism when it suits their purpose.

It probably will never stop. Maybe when the white man is not running this country anymore, then we'll see. But I promise you it will be the downfall of the U.S. as we know it.

when we strike premptively, hold others indefinately without charging them and torture them but redefine the terms and make it okay to do it to foreigners in foriegn lands, execute one german and two mexican nationals ,without one translator, making them sign english confessions, convicting them in english trials and they are not informed of their rights until just before we executed them, we are terrorists.we are shamelessly violating our own military laws and international laws against terrorism ,but no one is big and bad enough to stop us
