All mail goes on space available (Space-A) terms. It basically depends what missions are flying and where they are. If they dont have planes flying down to there area for a month well then thats how long it is going to take. I would say when I was over there it took about a month to get to me.

It mostly depends on what base they are stationed in Iraq. I have a friend stationed in the "Beverly Hills" of Iraq bases where he has it pretty nice compared to a lot of grunts, and it usually takes about 10 days for letters or packages to get to him. It can take as long as a full month for letters to reach Iraq, depending on if the person you're trying to reach is actually at the base or in different regions of Iraq. If you want letters to get to someone relatively quick, try motomail.us. It's like sending an email from your side, but on the Iraq side, they print, address, and send the letter to the addressed person usually in about 2 -5 days (it takes about 3 days average for mine). But it also depends on the conditions over there and whether or not the person you're trying to reach is there to physically take the letter. Good luck.
