At least wait until you are out of basic and tech school. Then it is more of not how long you are in the AF, but how long you have know the person you are marrying. Military life is not for everyone. Your spouse will find it hard to advance a career, because of all the moving. Also, you may not always live in great places and they may ave a hard time with that. Not to mention the deployments and weird hours you have to work during exercises. Then you have to think about kids you may have. Some the base schools are not great, unless you are overseas.

I would suggest both of you talking to other couples that have been in a long time. And listen to the good and the bad.

My Sister married her high school sweetheart just after he finished his initial training at Lackland AFB, TX. They're doing great. Hope this helps.
