After failed policies related to the war in Iraq, one after the other, denials of Iraq being in a civil war, more that 2400+ US soldiers killed and more than 10,000+ seriously injured personell, wasn't it about time?

I really don't want to hear "it's politically motivated" (I don't care). Doesn't incompetance speak for itself?

I used to shudder at the thought of Hillary becoming President.
I still have some doubts. BUT, the demolition job she did on Rumsfeld yesterday was impressive. All this once 'macho' could say was 'My Goodness' and then he admitted to every charge she made. And THEN he added a weak little rider: 'but I still think we are doing the right thing' or something stupid like that.
Maybe, just maybe, there's hope for the world..............
I like to think of myself as 'moderate', and I supported Bush on Iraq, but with too many 'mistakes and bunglings' later, and his blind and insane support for Israel, he has lost me forever.
After all is said and done, Hillary cannot possibly be worse than Bush and his lamebrains.

I do not think that it is ever "about time" for a public figure to be so openly rude. I can recall no great leader ever being so condescending to their critics, they usually just state their vision and let that vision speak for itself.

It probably is “about time” for the buck to land somewhere when it comes to the general failure of the current administration to clearly and convincingly articulate its goals and plan to achieve those goals. It is also “about time” that we as a people decided what it is that America should stand for and be consistently willing to support the actions that advance that vision. Ronald Reagan had a vision, articulated that vision and stood behind his vision. Even those who strongly disagreed with his goals, respected his leadership and conviction. We have too few great leaders and too many career politicians.

If we do not want to be involved in the Middle East, then we need to get serious about developing alternative sources of energy and stop just throwing rocks at every idea that comes down the road.

Let us take a reality check. During WWII in the Pacific Theater of Operations the US lost 92,000 in battle deaths. The Japanese lost 1.6 million soldiers.

The US led Coalition of Forces defeated the Iraqi Army in less time than it took First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton to locate the Rose Law Firm billing records in her own house.

Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld has overseen two wars, toppling two hostile governments and freed over 50 million Afghanis and Iraqis while suffering less than 3,000 battle deaths.

In the same time frame, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton has sponsored a US Senate bill to name a US Post Office after a political crony. Oh yeah, she helped lose 20,000 jobs in New York.

The Screeching Harpy (my opinion) who is the junior Senator from New York (accusations of being a Carpet Bagger aside) has a number of problems (how to be anti war enough for the Blame America FIRST! crowd while trying to remain centrist enough to not lose any BLUE STATES). She is simply trying to use SecDef Rumsfeld to divert our attention from her failings.

You bring up the matter of "incompetance". I assume you mean "competence". Donald Rumsfeld has gone through Senate confirmation hearings. He is a rated Naval Aviator. He has been a US Representative. He was Secretary of Defense when Colin Powell was a Captain. Hillary Rodham Clinton moved to the (arguably) most liberal state in the US and won ONE election.

Soooooooooooooo............. I guess you are right. Incompetence DOES speak for itself.

We are at war .It takes time. She is only politically motivated. We have never been in a war that was over in a short time. You and Hillary only show weakness. You could ask Fonda for her help.I served my country when I was 18 .Why don't you ask the volunteers who are in Iraq fighting for your freedom.Maybe better yet you should join up and serve your country.
