I wish that the current government would send them on missions which would actually defend our freedoms. In fact it would be great if there was an amendment requiring that war could only be declared if it could be proven that the war would strengthen some of our constituational rights. You would have to specify which rights would be strengthened.
Unfortunately our fourth and first amendment rights have actually decreased in the last 6 years, despite the efforts of the military.
