Soon it will be the time that we must read Tolstoy to the horses and gather in the eggs from where they have been placed by those who placed them there.

All is as it should be.

You know what I am talking about dont you?

I got a speeding ticket for going 101MPH in Fresno, CA. It was really early in the morning and I had been taking a road trip. No alcohol or anything involved substance wise. I have zero tickets before this and I am over the drinking age. The cop didn't say anything to me, he simply handed me the ticket and sent me on my way. 2 months later or so, I just got my notice in the mail that I have to go to the Fresno court before October, on a tuesday only in the morning. The notice did not have a ticket price on it, or a ticket, just a small notice that I have to go to court there on a Tuesday. Also, that court is pretty far away from my home, like 200 miles or so. What could happen to me, and what should I do? Anything specific with this area would really help to... Thanks!

do the cops and the paramedics have to abide by that?

Say, for instance, a person took too many pills on purpose but didn't want their kid to be the one to find them, if at the end there they called the cops to come get their body, can they refuse medical help?

So, the other day the police came to my door and handed me a paper. On it, it said I needed to appear in court the testify against my uncle! We had an incident a few months ago, in which he went to jail, and got out. Now, the state it against him, and I have to appear in front of a jury. Ok, it says If I dont appear I will be subbject to arrest, is this for any ages? Like, is it only for 16 and up, or something? What will I have to do? What is it like? I need some support and help. Lol, what do I wear? Need to know! Please any advice, and answers will be appreciate!

The California State Park Rangers at a Park identified themselves as police officers. Is that OK since they are Park Rangers Law Enforcement. The DEA agent identified himself as a police officer, is that OK. The California Highway Patrolman identified himself as a police officer off duty. Is that OK. The point is since all these officers, agents, rangers are responsible for law enforcement duties and police criminals, they are all Law Enforcement Officers, so I guess there would be no criminal act for them identifying themselves as police officers off duty or maybe sometimes on. Correct

I am 21 years old and I received a 12 gauge pump-action shotgun as a gift. To "legally own" this weapon, do I need to register it, get a criminal background check, go through a program, etc?

Additionally, how can I legally transport it in my car if I am only driving from private home to private home?

We got pulled over the other day by a police officer in Kalamazoo, Michigan. We were at a stop light, and we started moving, as soon as we started down the road (not even hitting the speed limit), a guy walks in middle of the 4 lane road he was pulling us over. We saw that it was a police officer so we started to move over, we thought he was just directing traffic.

He pulled us over by walking in the middle of the street! We couldn't beleive it. He asked us do you know how fast you were going, we said "we didn't even hit the 40 mph yet". Then he said I clocked you at 55. We couldn't believe this guy.

After he wrote us a ticket, he proceeded to go back to his hiding spot, in the bushes. Are police getting this desperate to write tickets? I did have a wittness but, should I fight the ticket, or will the police officer pretty much win no matter what?

I went to a party that got busted for underaged drinking, I'm 17. I didn't consume any alcohol that night and I did not supply the party nor was there when the police came. [They came around 1:30 a.m. and I left at 10:30 p.m.] I was threatened by one of my friends saying "We're going to tell the cops you're the one who brought all the alcohol, so you're screwed". I went in for questioning today. Would they have charged me after questioning? How long does it take to charge?

i really find it sick for people in congress to vote 'yes' on going to war. they're just sending people to die over seas. what can this country do instead of war? i mean, if everyone was on board to change everything. even the bad guys.

we get the world leaders to fight it out themselves. or just one person (representative) per country to fight it out.

I'm 17, and the other night my friend threw a bonfire. My friend and I got there around 9- 9:30 and we saw that there was a ton of alcohol and people we didn't know playing beer pong. We knew there was going to be alcohol that night, but we didn't bring it. Everyone at the party was getting really drunk, so my friend and I left and went to another friend's house where we were going to stay the night around 10:30. The party got busted around 1:30 and five people got arrested. In their questioning, 3/5 of the people said I had brought the alcohol. The cops called me in for questioning and I said I didn't bring anything. Can they still charge me? Is this just hearsay? What might happen because of this?
