I work as a cashier. I have been working there a year and a haft. about 6 months ago my boss's son's Girlfriend started working. Well I have went from 47 to 27 hours a week. And hers have stayed the same. My boss told me She was cutting hours because it was slow. BUT WHY keep that girls hours the same! I complain alot. Because I do alot for my boss. Ive been there when no one has. Heck, I was the only one working on thanksgiving. I have to support 3 people, Pay 350 in bills by the end of this month plus buy christmas. There is no way I can do it if im working 27 hours a week, for 6 in hour. If i got another job, I wouldnt have a paycheck till after Xmas. Im so angry, why cut my hours but not hers? I have been there longer and work better. Some uplifting words can help. I feel like im going crazy. AHHHHHHH...

I had a girlfriend in high school. I was a 17 senior, she was a 15 sophomore. we had been dating for a couple of months. on my 18th birthday she gave me my present. best present I've ever gotten? still can't figure it out? we had sex for the first time together. her birthday is EXACTLY 2 weeks after mine, and for her birthday I got her a gift and returned the favor. We continued doing this. We're no longer dating. I still see her around every once in a while, like when I wake up in the morning, eat breakfast, take the kids to school, get home from work, go to bed at night, etc. Point is, I married that girl. Love her with all my heart and our 2 BEAUTIFUL daughters. This is kinda stupid, but if we got divorced tomorrow, could she say something about having sex when I was 18 and she was 15? and Could I get in trouble for it and wind up on the sex offender list or not?

I posted a question a while ago about double jeapardy which brought up new questionable aspects. I read up on it online and found this on wikipedia to be interesting.

"Double jeopardy is also not implicated for separate offenses or in separate jurisdictions arising from the same act."

The first question involved a case on a tv program called snapped in which a mother kills her daughters ex bf and is release on a technicality and then prosecuted by federal for the same crime.

I hear from people from the first question that they can do that if its not done by the same enity as the first judgement. but that still doesnt make sense. The constitutional law would supercede federal and state and would have to come in effect. She was tried for the same crime in the unitied states which adheres by the constitution even if by different entities of that same government which makes no sense. If the crimes were different like batter and racial crimes but it was the same exact crime.

Ok as I understand the definition: You can't be charged for the same crime twice? Yet this mother who killed the bf that broke up with her daughter was tried and convicted and later release on a technicality. The state wasn't able to try her on the crime again but the federal level was. But double jeapordy is a constitutional law which shouldn't let federal retry her for the crime. Just doesn't make sense. If the federal can try someone that was already tried in a state then what use is double jeapordy?

I came to know recently that Bankers(Federal bank) will lend money to the Govt for their budget and Govt will pay interests time to time to the bank. Its also told many wars in which US took part including the current War on Terror (IRAQ) are all well planned and executed business strategies by the bankers. During war US Govt will loan more amount from the Federal Bank thereby end up paying more interest to the bank. So the Federal Bank get profited.

No, not the facts the govt would have you believe.
The real facts.
Like are you aware that researchers at Harvard University just released a study that shows that the active ingredient in marijuana cuts lung cancer tumor growth in half?
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/04/070417193338.htm

The govt lies to us about marijuana because they have poured so much $$$ into keeping it illegal and spreading propaganda that it is too late to turn back now.

We were in a deal to sell a house where the purchasers agent acted as dual agent because we were giving up and about to rent the property after being on the market for 6 months. Need less to say it was a nightmare. The home inspector broke our furnace boiler which in turn flooded our house. It is a he said she said thing so we sucked it up and moved on. That same worthless inspector scared our buyers by telling them that the foundation was shot. So we are smart and educated people offered to have a engineer come in. The agent wanted us to use their person because he could come in faster and quoted me a cost of between $300-$400 for it so we agreed. I tried numerous times to get the price but the agent told me not to worry about it needless to say the deal fell apart and now this guy is trying to bill us $750 which he lowered to $510 after we flipped out. I told him I do not think I should have to pay more than the quoted amount and he is saying he is goin to put a lien on the house

generally, how long after someone dies is their will read? if my grandfather died, and my grandmother is still alive (as well as 3 out of 4 kids and most grandkids and friends) who all is present for this? and if i dont trust their lawyer (hes my uncle by marriage and im not his biggest fan), he legally HAS to do whatever is in the will, right? even though hes the lawyer? my grandparents have a will thats influenced by him and one of their sons (i believe they had a lot to do with who was getting what) and my grandmother told me that she and my grandfather went down and secretly changed it without them. that means, they need to follow the new will now that my grandfather passed away? and if hes gone and my grammy is still here, will she get everything and then passed down later on when she (god forbid) passes on? or will it be divided up because hes gone?

Aafes is a government operated company on Military Bases. My friend was a regular employee and had just been promoted to a supervisor in fast foods. Her PER's were always above average. The problem is her assistant manager didn't want her to have this job to begin with and wanted someone else to have it.But she was more qualified. She has been yelled at by management because it takes awhile to do the closing reports. She has had very little traing as supervisor BUT there is others that take longer then her to get this paperwork done but nothing is ever said to them. She has witnesses to this also.I will advise her to contact the US Labor Dept. Thanks for all your answers.

I'm sure you have heard about it, it's been all over the news. This guy was remodeling a woman's house and he found some really old $$$--today's equivilent of half a mil. He says finder's keepers but she says it's hers and she will give him 10%.

I don't understand how he has any legal grounds to keep the money if it's on her property. Any legal eagles on here to explain?
