There was a law passed in Ohio under the Adam Walsh Act. This gives the FedGovt the right to dictate to state lawmakers how to RETROACTIVELY re-align sex-offenders within Ohio. This law forces double jeopardy, makes the plea deal nul & void and other problems.

Please don't get me wrong. I know that SO's need to have some guidelines for protection of the general public, but the ones that are in prison now are being forced to sign papers re-assigning them a higher level of offense WITHOUT an attorney present, they ARE NOT told they can appeal this within 60 days of signing it. But if they are making a sex offender register, I would also like to know if a drug dealer, murderer and/or other serious offender is living within a stone's throw of my house too!

Here's the kicker: the Adam Walsh Act (AWA) is a MONETARY INCENTIVE LAW that was hurried and passed without regard to the defendent nor his/her family so that the State could collect Federal Money!

So after school today me and some friend did donuts in the school parking lot... ya it was dumb and i realize that now but while we were doing them one of the football coaches came out and we stopped and parked and he told us we were gonna need to talk to him tomorrow. which i guess means your in trouble i am just wondering what kinda trouble im looking at i have a clean driving record and so do my friends they all ran off and i stayed to talk. This is the first time ive done this and gotten caught. im pretty sure they will just ban me from the parking lot for two weeks but im not sure i really dont wan my parents to find out and nor do i want the cops to find out what do you think my punishment will be???

All debts are in my name so I am getting calls from creditors on a daily basis requiring payment immediately. Certain bills are to be split (such as the mortgage) while others are exclusively her or my responsiblity. If she refuses to pay, am I obligated to take legal action against her in order to obtain the money needed to pay such bills or is it the creditors' responsiblity to collect the money as required by the divorce decree? How would I go about doing this?

i was over charged for installing a radiator i now have to go to court am now trying to get quotes but no one will quote me if they cant see the car which i cant show them because the traders wont give my car back unless i pay them! i would like to know who to contact to find this information!

I am suing a corporation because one their repair shops in my area had damaged a component on my car that they had worked on. I need to serve them the papers to appear in court tomorrow. Who do I give the court summons to? The manager at the garage? Or do I have to send it to the corporate office? That's all I need to know is who is authorized to recieve this court summons. I'm suing them for $1,040 for parts and labor to fix what they have broke on the car. Small claims court.

then two days later is appointed as the court appointed attorney for an opposing party in the case? Just FYI the attorney never signed a retainer agreement with the first party while discussing the issues of the case over the phone but she did give legal advise and her opinion on the case.

Me and my mom went to this little concert at a place called rocketown in nashville.
and upon entering they had event employees/vollunteers frisking everyone as they came in as well as DIGGING through every purse. they were taking away pens/pencils, chapstick,nail clippers,medicine, oils etc.
I want to know if these people have the right to do this even without security licences?
If you know anything about this please answer!

My son attend a college that I feel have unjustly mistreated him for something they alleged had happen. A friend owed him $10 he went to the school to get it, the security saw them exchange money and assume it was for drugs so they questioned them, they explained to security why he was giving him the money but the security didn't believe them and called the police who ultimately search my son first (who happens to be black), and found "NO DRUGS" then he had my son sign a consent to search the car and again found "NO DRUGS" however, upon searching his friend ( who happen to be white) they found DRUGS, money, and a scale in this kid car, they made my son sit in his car as they questioned his friend, and they arrested my son along with this kid despite the fact that they found nothing on my son, they charged my son with loitering, & alleged attempt to make a transaction with the intent to distribute, use, etc. and the college suspended him without a court hearing. is that illegal?

I was waiting in line (not moving) to leave the lot. A girl reversed out of her spot and took off my left taillight with her rear. She claims that I was trying to get around her as she was backing out. Her insurance co. claims it's 50/50 fault.
Basically, I need to know if there are specific laws about who is at fault in parking lot accidents in PA so that I can take the ins co to court. A link to a specific website would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I am not going to say either way. There is one thing that gets under my skin and with years of experience under my belt I leave you with this statement reportedly by the boys father. "No body, no crime." This statement is indicative of, in my opinion only and not to be taken as evidence, the following:
(1) Lack of empathy.
(2) Confidence in the lack of an available body .
(3) Confidence that there will be no trace of it.
(4) Because of (2) and (3), a high probability of knowledge of it.
Now most parents will be defensive of their children at such a time. However, understand this, this is a statement that is not defensive entirely. It is a statement of alibi. An alibi given by a father in a case that is world wide headline news. A statement that would be given to every viewer out there. A statement that says "Hey investigator, you dont have a chance." Not a statement of empathy out to the family or concern for his son. No tact or a slip? Is he guilty or not guilty?
