That is to say , sure the employers are paying low wages but add in all of the EXTRA benifits that they receive like ( school lunches ) free hospital care ( emergency room visits for minor problems. ) and the rising crime rate from the over 700 gangs in Los Angles alone.
Are the criminals really benifiting you ? - or the employer.
Yep they will work for low wages - and that is what they always BRAG about as an arguement but in reality are costing the TAXPAYER more money than you would care to know- because it would make you sick.

You know, if thousands of Americans were in Mexico City chanting and demanding their RIGHTS to dumb down schools, overpopulate prisons and drain social services, create massive gang problems, and don't embrace higher education in lue of popping out babies like rabbits(which they can ill afford to even feed and clothe, never mind educate)...what do you THINK would happen to those protestors??

I am an immigrant who came to America, and busted my @ss, educated myself, and am now living what is known as the American dream(I also was once homeless, while going to school).

So who is it that wants the hand-outs? The free-bee's? The welfare and food stamps for able bodied people, who create children, yet have no responsibility as parents(and I am suppose to buy into this LIE??!!)

Real Americans want ASSETS to come to America, not LIABILITIES, and definately not the nutcases marching in the streets demanding their "rights"!

Your thoughts?

Would it be fair to adopt the immigration policy of Mexico when dealing with those illegally coming to the United States since the majority are from Mexico?

How does the USA's new immigration (amnesty) policy keep those who are criminals from getting into the country?

I have read that there will be background checks, but what if someone has not been charged for a crime in the US and they are not in our "system"? Are we basically giving the nod to criminals?

And keep in mind I am not saying that ALL of those included in this group ARE criminals or involved in criminal activity...nor have I mentioned the "M" word...

Does it seem possible to do a back ground check on 12 million people?

It seems that anyone who says anything against illegal immigration is cast out as a racist or a bigot. I am not saying that this is ALWAYS the case, but it happens quite often.

And what about the American representative being booed at the Miss Universe pagent. Being booed because Americans are becoming intolerant of illegals? That makes no sense to me. Are we supposed to look the other way when someone is here ILLEGALLY? I mean, if someone just came into your backyard and decided to live there and expected no retaliation and wanted to do everything under the radar would you not want them to get the hell out? It isn't a matter of race - you are taking over someone elses property!

Personally I am pretty much against anything illegal and I am for protecting America.

I have no problem with anyone wanting to come to this country and become a productive member of it - if it is done legally. My family came here from Ireland in the 1940's did it the right way, so can't everyone else?

What is is like to live in your country compared to the United States, I hear mostly other countries, besides the middle east, have alot more freedom. Is this true? How is crime? How do people treat others? If good, you wanna adopt me??

I'll see a question about illegals and they specifically speak on mexican immigrants or illegals. Theres always someone who jumps in and says mexicans are not the only immigrants here. My question is, what other immigrant, Legal and Legal come here and care less about learning english and mingling with the rest of us and dry up our resources?
I think you need to face it, mexicans ARE the majority and therefore will be number one in the topics.

That is all...

Check the Figures

check out these figures, has the U.S. gone mad or is it just the people who are running it....

So often, we get caught up in a debate over political semantics and end up ignoring the hard-shell realities of what we're talking about. According to mmigrationCounters.com, here are some of the realities that the Flake-Gutierrez Bill would airbrush out of the picture:

Number of Illegal Aliens in the Country
20,807,645

Money Wired to Mexico City since January, 2006
$ 22,213,001,672.00

Cost of Social Security Services for Illegal Aliens since 1996
$397,450,739,563.00

Number of Children of Illegal Aliens in Public Schools
3,958,789

Cost of Illegal Aliens in K-12 Since 1996:
$ 13, 965,063,431.00

Number of Illegal Aliens Incarcerated
332,594

Cost of Incarcerations Since 2001
$ 1,398,127,429.00

Number of Illegal Aliens Fugitives
642,799

Skilled Jobs Taken by Illegal Aliens
9,872,838

Figures can trick your eyes. Take particular note that items 2,3,5, and 7 reflect BILLIONS not millions of dollars -- and that item 3 exceeds one-third of a TRILLION dollars.

Can you imagine how much it will cost taxpayers if we triple the number of Illegals entering this country!!

I have several personal experiences. Whenever I would do some seasonal work for my former boss, Mexicans would go behind my back a tell my boss little petty things like.

He thinks he is a supervisor, make him where the same shirt as everyone else.
You and him are too close.

They also talk about Americans like a dog in Spanish
All they want to do is bring their whole damn family in to work for people.
They disregard the Americans who would like to have a job for minimum wage, just for a short period.
Americans do do the work Mexicans, opps........ illegal immigrants do, but the illegals make us work in a hostile forieng enviorment

"The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that just 16% of American voters believe illegal immigration will decline if the Senate bill is passed. Seventy-four percent (74%) disagree. That figure includes 41% who believe the Senate bill will actually lead to an increase in illegal immigration."
