First off, your question makes absolutely no sense. Giving amnesty to illegal immigrants will actually increase tax revenues because they would have to pay taxes like everyone else. They would also have to pay DMV fees to get a vehicle registered which doesn't happen now.

Second, hospitals are going out of business because of crooked insurance claims and our friends at the pharmaceutical companies. That's who's really hurting our healthcare system. When an insurance company has to pay $172 for an acne wash, there is a problem. Hospital unions are also to blame for the demise of our healthcare system. When you have to pay an orderly $60 per hour because the union says you have to, someone is going broke.

It's easy to blame illegal immigrants for everything in this country but what nobody sees is that they provide a huge service for us. They are essential to this economy. If illegal immigrants went away today, you would be paying as much as $5 for a single orange in about 6 months. In about a year, most agricultural companies would be gone to foreign countries, perhaps even Mexico. We can't even compete in a high tech market so how can we compete in agriculture? Everything would be outsourced to China and India. You know you would be crying about that too..........

Then the services that we have in this country will either disappear or taxes to the middle class will go up so high that we will look like mexico.

Because 43 MILLION American citizens have no health insurance.

Our schools are broken because SCHOOL BOARD DON'T KNOW HOW TO MANAGE MONEY.

And, most of our new citizens will do what all of our new citizens have always done. Go to work, raise a family and become part of the community....oh, and taxes will come out of their paycheck - just like it does for the rest of us.

Remember, under the proposed bill, illegals will be charged a $5000 fine each. I'd also like to point out that during the 90s we had a flood of immigration and our economy boomed. These immigrants are taking cleaning jobs that some of us wouldn't think about and happily doing a great job. And has they make money they spend money. They will also pay taxes. Those problems, you mentioned are real. But are you saying we wouldn't have them without the immigrants?

It is a delicate subject. Some things you hear might make one scared. But I think, with a level headed view, we see that their presents are not a great threat.

I would also point out that all are immigrants or offspring of such accept for Native Americans.

Additional: It just occurred to me. How will we support shipping these millions back to Mexico. It is easy to sit at your desk and complain. But what if you actually had to carry out solutions.

You're so kind to refer to them as "our new citizens", I'd call them "our continuous moochers". Our tax dollars are already supporting them so I don't know if it will be any different. yep... and shouldn't we worry about supporting our own citizens before we worry about supporting people here illegally from another country- seems like we should take care of our own first.. make programs, bills, and laws for our own citizens that are hungry, poor, homeless- the ones that actually fall on hard times- that get laid off, or are devastated from weather or other disaster
