A friend of mine is an international student of F1 Visa here in United States, he is finished 27 credits already and need to finish 6 more, his F1 status expires in May 2007 and he is married to a US Citizen and he claims that he doesn't have money to register for a course since he is feeding the family of three including himself using his grace of credits that he has and he is not working. He has already applied for his adjustment of status back in December 2006 and he thinks that he would get his work permit before end of March 2007.

He is from Gambia in Africa. Is he considered "out of status'? He thinks approaches immigration to change his status he will be deported because his student visa has expired. What can he do to bring his stay here up to date?

He got a drugs conviction over 10 years ago. It was in the early nineties and he got caught with a handful of e's on the way to a rave, naughty boy. Anyway they decided to do him for intention to supply class A's - pretty serious conviction. It is now 'spent' in England and he doesn't need to declare it. He also holds a liquour license - so the british cops aren't concerned about him. We want to visit the States this year (for a holiday), but I don't think he will be allowed in - he reckons he will - which of us is right please...anybody know?

Most officers I see are riding around most of the times. They do not have THAT MUCH to do. It would certainly be a refreshing change.

I dont hate them. It just bugs how they can come over here and get sometimes better treatment from the US? I'm not one of those racist bigots. My best friend (who is hispanic) came over when she was little(Undocumented). I just hate when I go to a fast food resturant and have to speak fluent Espanol? Or when I'm in a store and I look like the dummie cuz I'm not letting the lady with 12 kids cut me? Is this wrong?
