All humans suffer from Xenophobia to a degree. No matter where in the world you live, you'll encounter it.

If you're seeking refugee status, then you need to apply for refugee status at a foreign embassy and go from there. I know the US has many Somalians living in New York, but I also know that the Netherlands has a large amount also. It's a long and daunting process that could take a very long time. You will need a lot of patience in the process; just don't give up hope.
