There are other illegal immigrants than Mexicans. Just because they're more in the public eye doesn't mean there aren't more such as Germans, Russians, greeks, Yugoslavians, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, japanese, etc.

There are many, many countries that are not safe.
There are several countries that are safe, but not free.
There are almost no countries that are free*.

Can anyone tell me why people should try to sacrifice the freedom in this country for safety? Why shouldn't these security-lovers just move to any of the dozens and dozens of places in the world where security reigns?
Where will freedom lovers go if the security-lovers have their way HERE?

*(Notice how these FEW free countries tend to be pretty safe, too, because people know that each individual takes charge of his own safety?
That's why Japan didn't invade the U.S. on the ground during WWII, because every citizen is SUPPOSED TO BE free to arm himself! Invaders and terrorists and thugs, they don't mess around with populi in armis!)

You've seen all of gwb22's questions. Would you say that he is racist against hispanics? Being Puerto Rican should I be offended by him? Let me know what you think about him. Don't hold anything back because trust me I have my own feelings about him too, and he is not the nicest person out there!

America is called the worlds Melting POT because people the world over came here to be Americans. Yes they still keep there traditional customs but, they also assimilate into American society. Why then are we seeing a Growing Number who appear to wanna Change America to Suit There needs and Customs rather than to simply Blend in and Join the Melting pot.

I saw tonight that 85% of the Worlds countries have a regonized national Language. Why then do people Complain when it's suggested America make English our National Language? I also saw tonight yet another town is considering making English there official language Taney Town Maryland. It would appear if the Federal government fails to Act on this issue that Local governments will simply do it themselves. Thoughts and comments ????

Of course I'm Mexican and I live in my own contry.

I've read some answers about inmigration and I see there is a lot of discrimination and fasist points of view. I belive that illegal inmigration it's a problem for both countries as it is drugs and so many other problems we have to be at the border with the US.

People from other countries come illigally to Mexico to cross to the US afterwards. Some of them can't or find out they don't like to do it and stay here.

There are all kind of histories, but many people that go there are good workers who seek for what they think is a better live. Many of them find out that things are not so good there as they thought, because they are exploted and mistreated.

On the other hand, I know people from the US who tells me every time I go there that Mexicans are hard workers and really help a lot to their companies.

So I guess we should find a way so that this situation istead of being a problem for both sides can be a mutual benefit.

who invented these "Human Rights" and who protects them?

This is the leading argument for pro-amnesty people. It is thier "Human Right" to be in this country and to have a better life.

please somebody define human rights and tell me when and where they meant anything in any countries law. Just like bigfoot there never was and never will be universal Human Rights. it is a made up leftist political tactic..and a weak one at that

You can't compromise with terrorist! Yes they will be terrorist if we deny them what they portray to be theirs. Have you not been watching their behavior? Are you blind? Snap out of it and purchase a gun fool! It's on! Do you think they will just leave? It's coming so be prepared. Take the first step and attack the next person with a Mexican flag...it's time for MORE examples!

We took over an entire country in the middle east. A region of the world that hates every thing America stands for. That took a lot of balls..right or wrong. We know that the illegals are not lawfully here and are decaying this country . This is a no brainer. What is Mexico going to do...? send our companies back over here. That wouldn't be a bad thing

The U.S. introduces a new, streamlined immigration process that makes it easy for any law-abiding person to come to this country. Basically, immigrants would be held temporarily at border camps to check for health, criminal, and security risks. As long as they had proper ID and cleared background checks, they would be allowed to enter the country and put on a citizenship waiting list. The whole process would take 3-6 months.

The other part of the plan is that these immigrants would not be eligible for any public benefits beyond emergency healthcare, police services, and basic education. Anyone trying to enter outside of the easy, legal channels would be punished severly upon conviction. Immigrants would also have to enroll in English education classes.

It seems this plan would satisfy both sides. Immigrants could easily come here for a better life, without being a drain on other Americans or security risks. They would be encouraged to adapt to our language and culture. Agree?

i am sure this is not the case with all the baby boomers but some seem to ignore that they are about to retire and that an America whit out the latin immigrants would not be able to pay any of the benefits they will need so much in the future . latin Americans ( legal and ilegal which need to be legalized ) will keep America being the greatest and the strongest .
