On average, they don't. More white americans are just backwater folk who've never set foot outside their hometowns.

since most Americans are presently some shade of white(one drop of white blood and you are white), I would say whites are outdoing whites. But, I see Americans of all races that make more money, drive nicer cars, and live in nicer neighborhoods, than I do. So what? Maybe they work harder or have a better education and thus a higher paying job.... As long as I am satisfied doing what I do and living where I live... and driving the vehicle I drive, I could care less how much someone else has... my guess is that they worked for it. If I want more, I will have to do something to address that WANT..... my needs are of the most importance to me....
WANTS take a back seat.... Needs are: food, shelter, clothing, transportation, and GUNS and AMMO.... what more does a person need?
I already have self respect.... WANTS(if I can obtain them) only soothe my journey through life, satisfying my needs is what enables my journey and allows me to do what I enjoy.

This actually depends on which part of the country you're talking about. Not all white American make more $$$ than other races. I live in Houston and I see alot of Asian-Americans with WAY nicer stuff than white people.

It is true that white americans make up the majority of the most wealthy in America. With others trailing way way behind. This fact can be attributed to one thing alone. Inheritance. 5 of the 8 richest people in the world inherited their wealth from their father/parents.
When whites pass on their wealth generation to generation it continues to grow and become more powerful.
One political sidenote: Why is George W. Bush so adamantly opposed to the inherritance tax, or so called "Death Tax". Because that is how his family and others like his remain in power. Even when this Estate tax covers only 2% of the estates and only those over $2million dollars. Why is this issue so big when it affects so little? Because those white people in power stay in power that way...

I think many people other than whites have those things, and I've also seen a lot of poor white trash too, but whites that do have those things, work hard AND smart. They were usually raised by parents that valued those things and they go to college etc to get what they want. Many are self made and others get help up from their families. They Expect to grow up and have those things, and thus that becomes their reality.

This is the kind of question that will only gain opinions. If you seriously want to know the true answer you need to read on American history. A lot of the way we are living now has a lot to do with our forefathers.

Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan and most of the NBA, Oprah Winefrey, etc. etc. make more money than most white americans so what's your point.

I live in a nice neighborhood and I have a nice car, but its not because I am white it is because I have this thing about me. My daddy calls it..."My want to"! My neighbor has it too. I see him when he is going to work and when he is cutting his grass. He even came over one day when I got my key stuck in the front door lock. My neighbor has a nice house and three nice cars. Guess what he isn't white! You get what you want out of life. Everyone is capable of having nice things...they just have to "WANT TO"!

Oh Please.. My street looks like the United Nations.. and the homes are over 425k. Give me a break.. There are tons of whites living in poverty. Probably more population wise than any other demographic. People CHOOSE to be on welfare. Everyone can get a job and an education.

Because whites are a few hundred years ahead as far as progress goes.
While blacks were busy chucking spears and picking cotton, whites were building wealth and evolving socially.
Whites and some asians are just more evolved than all the other races.
