Politicians represent the "people" even if those people are illegal aliens. Since the number of representatives in congress is fixed, any increase in population due to illegal immigration will require more representation for that group while taking away representation from people in other states. Most politicians that represent areas of large illegal population, vote in the interest of illegal aliens since they are the ones they represent.

1)If you don't want more illegals, let people become legal, instead of letting in more Green Card lottery winners, who have no education and speak no English.

That is one of the amusing highlights of this arrest of a knowing employer if multiple illegals.

However, I think the police are altogether too apologetic about the arrests:

I think it's largely do to illegal immigration and anchor babies... If we don't watch out they will seize political power because of the sheer numbers of anchor baby Americans and make America like Mexico....
