TRUTH: Most illegal aliens do not receive a typical paycheck with tax deductions -- they are paid in cash and do not pay taxes. Even when they do pay taxes (only possible if they use fraudulent social security numbers or government assigned ID tax numbers), their meager income is not enough to pay for medical expenses and all the expenses for all the children they give birth to. You don't have to look at statistics -- just visit the maternal ward at the L.A. county hospital. There, illegal immigrant women are having thousands of children per year free of charge and can't afford them once they give birth, and that doesn't stop them from having even more children -- most learn how to work the system so that they receive cash assistance and food stamps.
MYTH: Illegal aliens don't affect politics because they can't vote.
TRUTH: Just by being counted in the census, illegals give political power to special groups. Many illegals fraudulently vote anyway and there is strong evidence that some key elections have been upset by illegal voters. Politicians represent the "people" even if those people are illegal aliens. Since the number of representatives in congress is fixed, any increase in population due to illegal immigration will require more representation for that group while taking away representation from people in other states. Most politicians that represent areas of large illegal population, vote in the interest of illegal aliens since they are the ones they represent.

The economy may be growing but the wages arent so it really doesn't matter. I have read where their wages are so small but as an apartment manager I saw paystubs and they were making as much or more than I was. When so many live in one house they can afford to make less anyway. Illegals affect the economy most definitely but not always in a good way. my house keeper at the apartments drove a nicer car than I did.

You are absolutely right on both counts.
I used to work at a hospital, and since Medicaid doesn't issue ID cards with pictures anymore, they pass the cards along to each other to use and US taxpayers are paying for this.
Also, they DO vote illegally. I was involved in the 2004 elections and I saw it time and time again when we went to register voters and canvass neighborhoods. They have false documents and many polling places do not ask for Voter Registration cards and photo ID's. All they do is sign the book

Myth: illegals don't pay taxes.
Truth: not only do most of us pay taxes(66% according to a recent reseach!), but we also create jobs, since you get 10.5 MILLION more consumers. And if you have a clue about economy , more consumers=more profit. US economy grows faster because of us.

Truth:
Most of the people who rail against immigration to this country are pretty ignorant.
Those of Irish, Italian and Eastern European ancestry are especially stupid if they don't realize that their forebears used to be more hated in this country than Mexicans are today.
Many of them came here illegally and the eugenics movement of the early 20th century was directed against them.
As a matter of fact, many of the techniques used by Hitler to exterminate the Jews were learned from Americans trying to exterminate the Irish, Italian, and Eastern European immigrants during the early 20th century.
Of course many of these people here today don't know that because they are pretty ignorant.

When you live in Calif anybody can vote. There they don't require any poof of are you legal or illegal and they do vote there that is no myth anything that helps the cause they use it legal or illegally. The census does not ask are you legal or illegal so they cannot assess how many illegals are here.
