You need to stop.
BAHAHAHAHAHA
J-Rod is cool..anyways..
It depends on what part of africa you move to. As long as you are celibate then you would be an african. If you decide to celebrate your new status as an african with some of the locals then you'll be dead meat due to a variety of venereal diseases..one of which would be the all too lovely aids.
Of course you could always try to pick a tribe *hard to do since all the africans look the same over there..only difference is apparently how fat their noses are..you know..hutu vs tutsi..*.
Being in a tribe in africa is fun because you get to wear ridiculous looking shirts, wield a machete and hack little babies to death if their nose is shaped funny.
Isn't it fun not being white? =)

They would be an American African, unless they were black; then they would be an African American African. If they are brown then they may be a Hispanic American African. However, if they were Polish Americans, Irish Americans, Italian Americans, or whatever Americans then they would be Whatever American Africans.
I like what Whoopee Goldberg says; "I'm an American, just an American." By calling yourself an Italian American, a Polish American, an Irish American, or an African American you are just highlighting the difference, and you are diluting the fact that you are an American.
Do you want to go back to the home country? Do you live their part time? Are you an American citizen? If you are a citizen of American then you are an American, plain and simple. If you call yourself a ____ American then you have an identity crisis and are more worried about where your ancestors came from than the fact that you are now an American. Anyone that calls themselves anything else but an American should spend some time in the other country. It’s your choice do you want to live on the poorest continent in the world (Africa), or do you want to live in a country that is so chaotic that there is a strike every single week (Italy), or would you prefer to live in a country that is still coming out of the communist era (Poland), or would you rather live in a war torn country (like Africa or Northern Ireland). America has its problems, but we are better off than most countries and we have a lot to be proud of. I don’t call myself a White American, because I don’t want to join the KKK or some stupid Nazi organization. I am happy to agree with Ms. Goldberg; “I’m an American, just an American.”

My husband is African. He considers all African Americans to be African. He says they are not American, they are African. However, though I am White and cannot speak for them, I think that the majority of African Americans who travel to Africa consider themselves Americans first. If they don't before they arrive in Africa, they usually do shortly after.
I prefer the term Black partly for this reason. African Americans cannot truly relate to Africans much better than any other American. I have no problem with the term African American. If that is what a person prefers to be called, so be it. However, we have to remember that African Americans did not immigrate to the New World. At least the majority did not. They were brought there against their will and were not considered fully human upon their arrival. They were considered chattel, not immigrants.
My child will be Black. He or she will also be African American in the sense that he/she will be culturally African as well as culturally American.

If an African American moved to Africa, I doubt most Africans would be very accepting of them, or even be willing to affix the term African to the front or end of their reference to him. Many people in Africa have a rich culture, replete with customs, and exuding familial warmth and loyalty.
So many “African Americans”, with a few exceptions, are so void of culture, and have done an excellent of stigmatizing themselves with their wanton devotion to crime, using past injustices as a crutch, and having a cavalier disregard for family life, that no one, including their own ancestry, would want to be associated with them.
Maybe when African Americans start emulating the genius of Tutankhamen’s culture (real African heritage) and not the thuggish stupidity of Tupac, the world will start to respect them more.

I don't think so. I have some friends from Africa, and they don't consider the blacks here in America to be African. They would just probably call us American without reference to Africa (which would be their continent, not country).

First there are no african american unles they were born in africa.and migrated to america. YOu can't be african if you have never been there, and africa continent not a nation, and blacks who lived in south africa have nothing in common with one living with the congo or a saudia arabian(this is africa too) has nothing in common with someone living in Israel. call it the middle east but still it's the african continent.
Blacks are confused as to where their roots are.many are from islands, or the interior. Those from the islands are not africans either.

I was talking to one of my african american friends the other day who is a comidian and she told me that Africans usually hate African Americans. She said that they usually tend to act snoody and hateful to African Americans. She also said that she walked up to an African lady once, who was wearing African dress and said "hey my sister" and the African told her off so fast that all she could do was run away. She told me plenty of other things... but that is all I am going to say for now.

They would be known as an American. I don't imagine the rest of the world uses the PC terms that we do.
