They couldn't hire ILLEGALS, that's for sure!!! Oh, wow, i guess they would have to start paying DECENT wages to an AMERICAN citizen!!!!!!!

Very logical. It's all supply and demand.
But I think it would be easier to cut out the demand by fining the hell out of the employers that hire illegals. They can check things out - it's easy to do. Some just choose to not take the time and look the other way.

That is true if they were not here employers could not hire them. It seems when one law is broken others follow.
Both have broken the law though. One does not excuse the other.

If you stop buying stuff from the companies who hire them, that would cause the companies to have to reorganize their business strategy to get your business back. It would probably involve lobbying congress to actually do something for once about the trade imbalances and banking scams that devalue the dollar to make huge money for multinational corporations who devalue Mexico and other countries so they want to come here for jobs.
It all comes back to the money, and that comes out of YOUR pocket. If you want change, don't spend it.

No. But they could just be civil and hire legal immigrants and migrate workers who are already on a guest worker program. Illegal workers do affect other jobs then picking fruit and vegetables.

In most cases, they would just have to increase the wage they offer in order to attract domestic workers. Sounds fair to me.

all of a sudden all illegals are gone and the jobs have to be filled by "true" citizens that refuse to work for lower wages ... now all the products you buy (especially food) cost twice as much.... worth it? i dunno ... lets kick 'em all out and see.
