1)If you don't want more illegals, let people become legal, instead of letting in more Green Card lottery winners, who have no education and speak no English.
2)to make sure everyone pays taxes, you have no choice but to legalize everyone
3)we are NOT leaving anyway after what we've been through
4)to me legal residence will be an award for much patience and suffering

It's amazing that the greatest country is filled with Nazis like some of you. Unbelievable.
And to your reliefe, I have no patience to leave this country. But first I'll take my resident card. I don't want your f-ing citizenship anyway.

SinatraLover, when was the last time you checked the laws?50 years ago? Most of you have no clue.Bette read your Nazi laws before speaking. And...what welfare? Noone comes here to live off welfare. That's what blacks do, not illegals.

Gatzap, when your ancestors stole this land did they get to keep it? They got a FREE PASS, that's why you are a US citizen today. Now because you desreve it in any way, but because your mom popped you out here.

Masterjack, good point. All generations of immigrants to US have been hated and even often killed. Your forefathers have been in my positions decades or even centuries ago. Yet you don't fully realize it and can't put yourself in our shoes.

Most of the people who rail against immigration to this country are pretty ignorant.
Those of Irish, Italian and Eastern European ancestry are especially stupid if they don't realize that their forebears used to be more hated in this country than Mexicans are today.
Many of them came here illegally and the eugenics movement of the early 20th century was directed against them.
As a matter of fact, many of the techniques used by Hitler to exterminate the Jews were learned from Americans trying to exterminate the Irish, Italian, and Eastern European immigrants during the early 20th century.
Of course many of these people here today don't know that because they are pretty ignorant.

I am not against legalization, providing you have come here legally and have an application for citizenship filed with the federal government. If you have not come here legally, and have not filed for citizenship, you are here illegally. Go home and come back through the proper channels.
It becomes an oxymoron. You are either trying to do things (gain citizenship) correctly, or not. If you are, good for you. If you are not, GET THE HELL OUT!
On the rare chance you might be from Mexico, only because that is where our greatest invasion is from, take a look at how the country of Mexico deals with the same issue, illegal immigrants, crossing its southern border. Either imprisonment or shot on sight. Do you want the US to handle our borders the same way?
Right is right. Wrong is wrong. What is so hard to understand?
The United States owes you NOTHING!

The problem is the drain on education and services because most illegal immigrants are poor, and poor people who pay all taxes still pay little of their cost in education, etc.
Having said that I am not against SCREENED legalization (no crime convictions, no gang members, and residence not citizenship) of only those here, with no rights to bring in others. The number here already are too much for schools and services in many areas. Those who want to be with family are free to leave to go where their family is.
However, I would only be OK with that if there were strictly limited immigration going forward, and true border security, interior enforcement, and dismantling of incentives for future illegals to come.
Last time we gave amnesty many brought their family illegally figuring since they'd be approved down line, they should get education etc now. However, the whole limit on how many can come is to keep our education etc from suffering those burdens.
This feeling of entitlement, in particular the 'you owe me for the suffering I've gone through while illegally taking the benefit of being here' like you demonstrate, is one of the biggest reasons against giving amnesty, however. You have no RIGHT to be here, at all.

Why should we make all of the illegals citizens then support them on welfare? If they came here illegally let them stay and work, but DO NOT give them the benefits the rest of us have paid into all our lives. The system is overburdened as it is. If all of the illegals had formed into a party and fought for justice in Mexico, maybe they could get something done there. That's how our forefathers did it here. Your country is a mess because no one organizes and stands up for what is right. Don't come here and tell us what you deserve! Deserve is not the word you should be using. Thankful is the word you should be using.

well you are just full of yourself aren't you? in one question you act like you are a citizen, in another you act like an illegal. you spout your "knowledge" of our laws but you never grace us with this specific knowledge. first, green card lottery winners with no education? excuse me but i sure don't see any doctors or scientists hopping border fences, what the hell do you think is wading across the river? what are you talking about "we are not leaving after what we have been through"? what have you been through? " no one comes here to live off welfare except the blacks"? the last time i checked the blacks were U.S citizens and entitled to that welfare and yes most of the illegals have been getting welfare, how else do you think they can live on the wages they make and the twenty children they have?
you my dear, have blown your cover by ranting unintelligibly, you are undoubtedly an ignorant illegal Mexican immigrant trying desperately to be a high society white woman, just look at your avatar and read your own posts.

I am against legalization for illegals immigrants :
If you legalize the illegal immigrants, who would want to work for six dollars an hour anymore?
- Legal immigrants are at risk to lose their jobs because ex-illegals would want to bid for less and less wages in order to kick the legals out. Remember that the illegal immigrants are here to bargain, to destroy anything in order to get the slimest part of the pie.
_ what about the legal applicants whose case have been approved for years. they are waiting overseas in order to get their immigrating documents processed. They should come first. Is that fair to legalize those who did not chose the legal way to get in the US ? Legalization would be a call to let the legal immigrants know they are dumber than the illegals. Would that save the problem of illega immigration for good?
Knock knock !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anybody here to have a say for those legal apllicants, overseas, waiting to get an immigrating visa.
LEGALIZING ILLEGAL IMM. WOULD BANKRUPT EVERYONE BECAUSE WAGES WOULD BECOME SO LOW THAT IT WOULD AFFECT SOME GROUP INTEREST IN THE WAY THAT THEY COULD NOT AFFORD TO LIVE A DECENT LIFE AND BUSINESS WOULD BE AFFECTED AS WELL BECAUSE OF DEMANDS FALLING FOR GOODS AND SERVICES.
WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF YOU IMPORT SOME LOW PRICE, VERY COMPETITIVE GOODS FROM OVERSEAS ? BUSINESSES WOULD SUFFER AND THE SAME PREDICTION IS APPLICABLE FOR SOME GROUP OF PEOPLE AS WELL.

I'm for a more liberal legal process to come to this country, as long as everyone that is already a criminal and here illegally can't apply. There are millions of people all over this world that have NOT pissed on our laws that are more deserving to come.

Um, last I checked, there is a process to become a legal resident of this country. You want to be "legalized" because you have lived here a long time as a non-residence and that shoud count for something???

Because it rewards people who broke the law. That's why....
But realistically we can't deport all of you. but you certainly SHOULD NOT be allowed to become citizens. And you SHOULD pay a hefty fine.
We do have to change immigation policy, but you illegals also need to play by the rules. I can't just go to mexico (or wherever) and do whatever I want
