If NAFTA came to a stop, would this improve Mexico ?

If not, I imagine, it would at least make it so a visa to work in the U.S would be easier to obtain, or at least a guest worker program that is approved by the voters.

I honestley never thought about how the end of NAFTA, would effect Mexico. I also did not see any information on this subject. I can see it going both ways...

note - I asked this question earlier, and got 3 ok responces. I would like to see some one to put some thought into it.

If you look at the signs in the video (you may have to stop the arrow to see) there are rows of signs telling Europeans to go home. The story says there are 28,000 official residents of this sanctuary town - or 45,000 when illegal immigrants are taken into account.

I hadn't heard about it in advance. It was gutsy of the Minutemen to go there, frankly.

What do you think?

In order for an illegal alien to live and work in the U.S., an illegal alien commits violations of law far more numerous than just being here. And those taxes you say they pay aren't enough to offset the total cost of services, such as K-12 education, emergency medical care and jail time.

5 of 11 who robbed a Jersey City jewelry store have been identified and one arrested.

Gajewski got access to photos of about 40 known Romanian diversion thieves in the database of the National Association of Bunco Investigators and witnesses picked out five as being among the Newark Avenue thieves, he said.

They are thought to be part of an organization that is about 100 strong, Gajewski said.

When the group entered the country illegally about a year ago [through Mexico] they were picked up by immigration officials and all had their mugshots taken before they were released, pending a court appearance, which they skipped out on, Gajewski said. "

I guess this goes under the heading of 'why catch and release does not pay'.

The deportation Friday of a well-educated Venezuelan couple who admitted lying about their citizenship when they registered to vote in Boone County, Ky., has struck a chord among those who are in the United States illegally, their lawyer said.

Over the past six years, along with dozens, if not hundreds of illegal immigrants in Boone County, they have become part of the community, Arnett said, their status almost forgotten.

It may have been their downfall, he said. "After being here for a while, they got lulled into a false sense of security," he said. "They don't think that way now, that's for sure."

"In a plea agreement with federal prosecutors, they pleaded guilty to falsely claiming they were U.S. citizens in exchange for a recommended sentence of probation and deportation....The conviction also means the couple is prohibited from ever entering the United States again, even as visitors...."

Racism Appears in Escondido
Racism is ugly no matter what color it comes in. And Escondido witnessed it in person at the council meeting on Aug. 16 when dozens of known anti-American racists and illegal alien supporters, mostly from outside Escondido, came and gave vile 2 minute speeches, some actually threatening and challenging Marie Waldron for her proposed ordinance dealing with the rental overcrowding crisis in Escondido. Among the worst was Enrique Morones, the chief alien activist from San Diego, who actually works with the Mexican Government to push for open borders and amnesty for 20 million illegal aliens here in America. He spewed his lies about good Americans being members of the KKK and other nonsense. He spouted similar racist comments at a Vista City Council meeting in June. This man along with other "Latino activists" have no shame. They will lie and deceive good people to try to achieve their reconquista goals, including taking back California for Mexico. If you want proof,
note the I (heart) Aztlan sticker on the back of Morones' black SUV (see pictures at www.SanDiegoMinutemen.com). "Aztlan" is the American Southwest supposedly stolen from Mexico in the 1800's. These racists need to realize that America is a generous but sovereign nation of laws, and that Americans, by birth or naturalization, will defend their country from all enemies, foreign and domestic. how much does a fence 2500 miles long, 20 feet high, cost?...and then to patrol it around the clock?.....$1B,,$10B...$100B?........

go to the source, take away their reason for coming---jobs
punish employers who hire illegals-problem solved
ya, we'll pay more for produce, and construction....and a lot of services. but there is no avoiding that. the costs associated with those industries have been artificially frozen by the gov because of cheap wages and no benefits. now we have to pay, but i dont mind one bit knowing that money goes to americans who want to work and deserve the jobs.

if the US gov wanted to solve this problem it wouldve been done long ago, but they dont consider this a problem. they just sit and let the states fork out billions in taxes to pay for extra social services, education, healthcare, law enforcement.....the list is endless.

Carefully read these official govmt statistics. Pretty interesting , ha?
In 2005 there were 4.81 TIMES more black inmates than whites and almost 3 TIMES more back inmates than Hispanic. Let alone the fact blacks are only 18% of the US population, so the crime rates among them is OUTRAGEOSLY many fold the white or Hispanic.
Check again:numbers speak for themselves. So much for " rising crime" in the black ghetto called New Orleans...
Before answering, check the numbers again! And think twice. At least.

I need to get this straight in my mind so please help me out if you would ... firstly is this the big issue ---> economics? if so, then explain why in light of these issues.

1) THE biggest problem with the economy in this country is the federal reserve bank. its not federal at all, it is privately owned and operated for-profit. It also has been given the exclusive right and privelege to control the amount of money in circulation, print the money, and set interest rates. it is the largest creditor of our govt and they got what some consider to be illegal legislation passed in the form of the irs to guarantee that the interest owed on all money loaned to our govt is repayed by your taxes. The whole system is corrupt and has put almost all citizens in debt and has impoverished the american people and has practically bankrupted our govt . all their powers could costitutionally be handed back to congress and the people to whom they properly belong and the national debt could be paid off.
