If they come here legally, learn our language, follow our laws, and bring their food, it's great.
Illegal immigration is a completely different story.

I think that all people should have a chance for a better life but if it is don't illegally then it hurts every one else. A better life should also have the consequences of having to obey the laws of the law they are trying to enter. When the system is abused so the money that is being made can be sent back home then they are not interested in the place they are. only the place they have come from. Take the correct steps to become legal then bring your family over the correct way also.

Will if you don't mind a person that you love and care about being held for ransom there is nothing wrong with immigration.And you don't mind having to be separated for a long amount of time.The government i know thinks it is great because they made in one day off one country over a 100,000.00.I spent a day at the embassy in Manila Philippines trying to get a visitor visa for my wife and seen what they are making .Now times that by the number of countries and the number of days.

Nothing wrong with it as long as it done within the law, the immigrants are willing to learn English, and there's a long waiting period before public assistance kicks in.

We need a 15 year moratorium on immigration except for political cases and highly skilled workers.

I agree with Mephistopheles...If the people immigrating into the US intend to work to support themselves instead of relying on the system then I think it'd be okay. They would be contributing to the economy which is always good.

If they come to work in areas that are needed like Doctors etc.. that's fine, but if they come just to live on benifits, at the tax payers expense, then they can just F**k Off.
