My son wants to do his science fair project on different municipalities and their quality of water. We are trying to get information about the water supply and distribution system for northeast Illinois. I've read that over 100 suburbs get their water from the Chicago system, but I can't find a list or a map (there may be homeland security concerns with posting this information on-line). Do you know where this information is on-line (we are interested in and working on off-line sources as well)?

To those of us who have been critical of the government ( or even the opposition) in the up coming election ( NOVEMBER 24th 2007)... do you think that it could be at all possible that somewhere, some little pencil pushing computer geek is sitting there ... collecting details of our views and our opinions .. then seeking from Yahoo our ISP numbers and from there our locations and who we actually are behind our Funny little names ..

It isn't that I am paranoid.. I'm not scared that this may be the case .. I'm just curious to who else may think this is a possibility.

I stand by anything I have written , so I don't really care as such .. but i do wonder if *WE* are a concern for the powers that be

Hello everyone. First of all, I am seventeen. I was always so sure that the legal age for my state was 18, when it is in fact 19. It's strange because we're allowed to marry at 18 without parental consent, but cannot get an apartment until 19 on our own will. And also, the reason I'm mainly asking this, is because I'm graduating next year and my friends and I have planned a graduation trip to Europe, and maybe some other countries. Would I have to get parental consent to go abroad, or would I just have to find an airline that considers 18 an adult? (Because I ran into one that wouldn't let you fly without consent unless you were 19) And I'm just confused about this whole thing, because it seems silly to me. I just want to know what I can or cannot do. And I need an answer or else I'll be thinking about this until my eighteenth birthday. :)

This video shows a picture of suspected killer, Lee Harvey Oswald, standing at the doorway, of the Book Depository building, when Pres. J.F.K.'s motorcade drove by. How could he have done the shooting, from the window, if he was at the doorway? See time = 02:24.

The video also shows the Limousine driver, Secret Service Man, William Greer, turning around and pointing a shiny object at Pres. J.F.K. just as he received the fatal wound to the head. It then shows Jacky trying to leave the limo only to be escorted back on by another Secret Service man. See time = 05:36.

I heard somewhere that if we are in a war during the election that Bush would get to stay in office, is this true. Are there any clauses in the constitution or the ratifications of ammendments or anything that states this. Please provide sources if you have them.

Bush has given himself extraordinary powers. He has passed the Patriot Act and believes he can declare War without Congressional approval, without anyone's approval. He has claimed the right to wiretap citizens without warrants...all in the name of terror. The possibility of terrorist attacks will remain with us for centuries. The danger of not impeaching both Bush and Cheney and stripping them of these Constitutionally Illegal powers is that the next President may claim them for him or herself, thus ignoring the Constitution to make the Executive Branch one that is above reproach, with no Congressional Oversight. Despite investigations, Bush has evaded giving documents, e-mails or answers. The next President may cling to this same imperial secrecy. The question is, should U.S. citizens insist upon Impeachment and the removal of all imperial powers that Bush and Cheney have claimed as their own, lest the next president follow their path?

Michael Moore knows how to do his customary slag on the subject of his own country (it makes lots of bucks), and we Brits know how to puff up our chests and remark how first-rate the ‘NHS’ system is. But, with oil at three times the price over here than the USA; clothes, books and DVD’S which are at least twice as much in Britain than the USA, property is a fraction of the price in the USA and we in Britain being taxed for just about the whole lot that moves and breaths; is our system of health care such a great deal compared to the more affluent Americans?

It seems people like this idea but know it will not work because of their incompetent government elects.

Would you trust your government with more responsibility, money and your health? It is sad that it has gotten to the point that a good idea is moot because of the corruption that will be involved.
