In the state of Georgia if you do not show up for jury duty will you be in content of court?

YOU might be CONTENT to skip on jury duty, but...

I am pretty sure that the JUDGE would be within his purview to find you in CONTEMPT.

The term is contempt of court, and yes, if you just don't show up, they will issue a bench warrant for your arrest. You must contact them as to why you cannot serve, and then you are only allowed 2 exemptions (i think), and then you MUST serve.
