The thing is that Congress does not have more power than the President. The three branches of government (Legislative, Executive, and Judicial) in theory, are equal in power and strength. Its as you probably know, part of the whole Checks and Balances system. The government was formed so that one branch having power over the other would not happen. Each branch has its own powers.
Congress, ie: can regulate interstate commerce, etc.
President, ie: is commander in Chief
I guess if you take a look at history, there were some times where it seemed like on branch had power over the others (look up the Imperial Presidency). It really shouldn't, although it depends on how you look at all this

Because our founding fathers were smart enough to know that dozens of minds were always wiser than one. Especially since a charismatic president could easily become a dictator. So just like in most large companies, there isn't one guy at the top who makes all the decisions, whether he is qualified and has the experience or not... there is a board of directors. So the country is like a huge company. The president is the CEO and the Congress is like the board. Keeps things balanced and on track.

Your premise is incorrect. Also, the most powerful branch in the U.S. government is the judicial branch (Supreme Court of the United States).
Presidents have far more power than congress.
Presidents have the right to attack a country anytime they deem it necessary without the permission of congress. Congress has the right to "declare war".
Presidents also have the right to make executive orders and national security directives. Congress has no such right.

Separation of powers under the United States Constitution prevents that.
If you think Congress has the most because they can override a veto, that power actually balances the power back from the Executive Branch.
I can't think of a more balanced system in the world.

Congress has a little more power because there are more people in congress and not just one person making decisions. This way it's not like a dictatorship.

Because Congress has the representatives of the people - and the people are what are supposed to run the government. Also to make sure that there is never the chance for one person to become a dictator (though Bush is trying like hell to do just that). It is basic history, not to mention common sense.

No one has the most power or more power.Checks and balances make sure of that. The president is part of the Executive branch and the three branches balance each other out.And besides you wouldnt want the president to have more power then Congress. It would eventually lead to another Hitler situation.
