I think our Congressmen and Senators do not deserve to be in office for such a long time. They get in these comitees and we think that the more power they have the better they will do for us. But for what we can see it is not working, so lets try two terms and see if it works. It works with the President. I know we can vote them out of Office on election day, but, why they do it with the President? Just to be sure he does not get to confortable in there.

I grew up in awe of the great freedom of the USA. Since the Vietnam war and other subsequent badly planned interventions into other Countries affairs by the military wing of a self serving political club of, basically criminal, politicians who seemed to always have personal financial investment in the Military Industrial Complex, I have become very cynical about the global motivations of the USA. Since, in relatively recent times, this gung ho approach to international relations has hitched it's wagon behind the engine of fundamentalist 'christianity', I have despaired of a once proud and true Nation of honest people and become very cynical towards what seems like a Nation of self righteous crusaders. I know that this doesn't represent the American people but your present Govt. does their damndest to give over this view.

. All you do is insult us about benefits and hand-outs. Yet when we want to go you you say no we cant , must'nt. Whats up? if you dont want to pay for the things we need because westminster has stolen our oil broken every promise, closed our schools, hospitals and sundry other things (to many to list)

Why are you so afraid of our referendum? it would solve your money problems when we go our own way and we WILL!!.

is the real truth you like the free ride Scotland gives you by being oppressed by westminster. as they rob us blind and give back so little and complain about it.

We are nation! REMEMBER THIS The UK is made up of 4 nations England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland, that equels 3 nations conquered to sever the one England. you cant hold us much longer, your time has passed your government is courrupt and near bankrupt. Your Emperor BROWNAPARTE is selling you out to the EU or EUsless depending on your view.

no offence to anyone. i state this with curiosity and pride

I have no real care one way or another here but we all know free medicine is not free....it comes from the tax payers one way or another be it from government aid or raising costs because hospitals have to provide free services to those without insurance.

So are you For or Against this? Why? How do you think the US medical structure should look?

I want a healthy dialogue to this question. So any rude or inane comments/answers will be deleted. I want intelligent thinking, if that is possible on YA anymore.

If you were told that you and/or your family had to come up with $10,000 every year and that would guarantee that our country would stay free from any other country's grasp or control, WOULD YOU PAY FOR IT?
This is a non-partisan question. Any leader could ask you this question. Not specifically Gore or Clinton, Bush or Guiliani, or Perot or Donald Trump even. So do not answer this question based on who would ask it. Base your answer on the situation in hand instead.
What are you willing to sacrifice for freedom? We all spend money on material items that we MUST have that other countries' people may not even have access to , let alone be able to purchase.
The downside to not paying anything is that you will have no freedom.
