Does the first amendment protect you from anything you want to say,or just what you want to say about the government?
Because I heard that it only protects you from criticizing and expressing your thoughts and opinions on government, I.E. I don tlike the presidents hair. And I don't like his wife...

Or does it apply to things like I can tell a stranger on the street that I think he's ugly?

We know the crimes they've committed, yet, they still both hold office.Treason is a high crime.Lying to the American people to go to war, outing CIA operates, invasion of privacy of Americans without cause, etc.Why aren't we protesting this present corrupt government? If Bill Clinton can be impeached for lying to Americans about a sexual incident that wasn't a matter of national security, why hasn't Bush been impeached for the thousands of lives that have been lost based on lies? For those who didn't remember the impeachment of Clinton, please go to my next question.I'm new at this.I brought up "Why didn't people recall... due to the responses I received.Clinton in my opinion was one of the greatest presidents of our time.I thought my questions were legit, but some people are just mean and think that sarcasims and put downs are answers and makes them look witty.

Okay, seriously... I have read many liberal/democrats answers today that imply or outright deny that Bill Clinton was impeached.

So, liberals and democrats, was Bill Clinton impeached?

Or should we be vocal about it, and protest when we disagree with something?

Is it better not to voice accusations and possible evidence of wrongdoing in our government?

Is ignorance bliss or is knowledge power?

Chew on it a bit and tell me what you think.
