The problem these days is not the ozone. That was a 1980's and 1990's issue. We dealt with is by changing the composition of the propellants we use in aerosol cans and the chemicals we use for refrigerants. The ozone has been repairing itself and is coming along well. The green house effect is what we are confronted with now. Global warming. I like your thinking. We should spend what ever is required to find the solution. This means tax money... so roll back those cuts.....or die...? We need to do the same things today as environmentalists have been talking about since the seventies. Alternative energy, fuel efficiency and so on. Guess who these philosophies hurt. Big oil and auto manufacturers. So there are your answers. We're fighting big business and people who believe tax cuts are more important than the survival of the planet.

If you print more money than is needed it makes the value of money go down...

More money = Worth less

American science is underfunded, and if we weren't spending billions to keep the peace in far away lands, maybe we could "fix the o-zone"

We really need to fix the earth, that is the only way we can really fix the ozone. Remember the Ozone is a byproduct of our earth.

If it was that easy it would have been done. Money doesnt buy answers to scientific questions.
