I grew up in awe of the great freedom of the USA. Since the Vietnam war and other subsequent badly planned interventions into other Countries affairs by the military wing of a self serving political club of, basically criminal, politicians who seemed to always have personal financial investment in the Military Industrial Complex, I have become very cynical about the global motivations of the USA. Since, in relatively recent times, this gung ho approach to international relations has hitched it's wagon behind the engine of fundamentalist 'christianity', I have despaired of a once proud and true Nation of honest people and become very cynical towards what seems like a Nation of self righteous crusaders. I know that this doesn't represent the American people but your present Govt. does their damndest to give over this view.

Hey Justin and Spookychick,
Thanks for your honesty. Don't despair, you still have some of the most free thinking beautiful and radical people as your fellow citizens and I hope you count yourselves among them. Best wishes for an enlightened society. In Ireland we are struggling too it's just because our politicians don't have the power that we are not also condemned on the world stage.

Well, thanks for clearing that up! Seriously, I hear what you are saying and agree with you 100%. I feel pretty disillusioned and cynical myself and I've been here all my life. I wish that I felt safe enough to exercise my constitutional rights and go into more detail in this public forum, but I don't. I'm glad you realize the difference between The American People and An American Person. And like you, I am completely disgusted with morality being crammed down my throat by "Christians".

American people who express total agreement with its government are the worse to be liked. American government is the worse in world and the people who defend it cannot be liked by other countries' people because American government is so conceited and they think they are doing the world a favor but in fact the government is creating more isolation and more hate than ever before. The ones who are most affected are the American people who are understanding but are being brainwaished by its politicians who play tough with other countries and pretend they are so perfect. America is losing its respect and the people are paying for that. Nobody likes Americans because they act like they know everything and they think they are so perfect.

for many years other countries have always said "we hate the u.s. government but not its people" this is a flaw that americans make about other countries as well and thats what got us into iraq. Believe me the reason why you would hate the american government is because we ACTUALLY DO have many people that believe in everything that the Bush admin does and would do worse. Most americans are hatefull, racist, homophobic, bigots so dont be fooled. I am an american and always have been i should know. The only reason that we are the great country that we are is due to the constitution and the rights of the minority to not be trampled upon by the majority.

Hey Europeans. Do you realize that we really dont CARE what you think? You are who you are because of your experience in the US, and probably owe much of what you are to that experience. So to say you are somewhat hypocrifal is an understatement.

We are fully aware of the problems in our government. We are in the process of adddressing them the way a democratic system addresses these things. Through our chosen system of elections and social interaction. We dont need Europeans...especially those who basically turned their back on our system...to educate us. Believe it or not, many people who live in the US are capable of evaluation, introspection and intellectual thought. We'll figure it out. In the meantime, why dont you Europeans keep it under your hat until the next time you need us to bail you out of some crisis or another.

We'll figure it out without you.

First off, it's Gun-ho.

Next, Thank you! We really hate people all over globe. That's why we kill people.

Yeah. Right...

But really, why do we care? You can have your terrible government, and we'll the greatest country on Earth (even with Little Georgie as President)

Now, class, let's talk about fundamentalist. Think of it as basketball. You aren't going to win by changing the way to play basketball. You must use fundamentals.

But, please don't compare me to Government, because the government now isn't mine. In due time, someone good will be there.

But again, I do not care, But Eurowimpeans should not insult my comrades.
