I have never understood voting for a certain party. I vote for who I feel is the best candidate not whether that person is dem. or repub. I think we should do away with parties and just vote for who the person that we believe best to run this country - if there is such a person.

"In June 1951, a Top Secret CIA memo expressed the need to explore 'Scientific methods for controlling the minds of individuals'. Testing would require thousands of men and women who become unwitting subjects in experiments ranging from unusual to the bizarre, justified in the name of 'National Security'."

"Mind Control blows the lid off years of chilling experiments, drawing on the above-mentioned declassified documents and interviews with some of the victims. The projects involved brutal, at times lethal experiments on thousands of unsuspecting citizens in direct defiance of law, all ethical codes, and basic human rights."

Will oil prices ever go back down? Will the inflation that's happened as a result of the rise in gas prices ever go back down? Or are we just going to be divided into 2 classes the rich and the poor? Do you have any suggestions as to how our next president can go about attempting to fix this mess that Bush has us in?

Ok. So, my husband has been researching online about the possibility that 9/11 is a huge lie, basically to start a war and for President Bush to keep his place as president. Do you think that 9/11 was actually plotted, and was the biggest cover-up in U.S. history? What are your thoughts and opinions on this?

I don't agree with everything Pres. Bush has done but I do think he was the better of the two choices. I have heard many ugly things said about him and wonder out of all who have so much to say actually voted. If you didn't vote then you have no voice in what is done. That's what I say.

As a consequence on this war "of" terror, we've killed over 700,000 innocent civilians and seriously injured well over a million Iraqis (UN numbers). We cannot forget the illegal detainment and torture being conducted today in prisons throughout the world.

In the opinion of many, our conduct is worse than that of Adolf Hitler. It's hard to argue when you look at the statistics. It's also hard to believe that someone will not be held accountable for these atrocities at some point.

Is Palestine still a democracy even though America, etc won't accept the democratically elected Hamas?
Is it a dictatorship then?!!

So what is the official state of its goverment right now?

It can't possibly be called a democracy if Fatah is in control. Can it?

Thanks.

Or would you blame the local state or New Orleans government? Or would you blame me, a citizen of nearby suburb Metairie, for not paying attention enough and informing the authorities that we are in danger of being flooded.

Of course, hindsight is 20 20 and all that stuff, but in this disaster there were some warnings that people talked about before, but I guess we weren't as serious about it. For example, there was a Scientific American article that was eerily prophetic in its predictions about New Orlean's being flooded exactly like it was. In fact, I highly suggest you all read it.

Nancy Pelosi’s recent trip to Syria represents more than a partisan jab at the Bush Administration and its policies. It goes to the very heart of the constitutional foundation of our republic!

While Harry Reid is waving the Constitution in our faces – citing the independent power of the legislative branch of government – he conveniently diminishes the constitutional authority of the Presidency with his statement that the Democrats represent the people, while the President DOES NOT!

The Democrats, and particularly Pelosi and Reid, have apparently forgotten Constitution 101. The power to set Foreign Policy resides ONLY in the Presidency. As long as George Bush holds the office, HIS policy IS the Foreign Policy of the United States.

For that matter, the power to determine the Military’s mission and it’s strategies reside with the Commander in Chief – which role is also held solely by Mr. Bush.

Ms. Pelosi has been attempting to set herself up as the de-facto leader of a sha
