I don't know what America you live in, but if you listen to just about any talk show on radio today, you get an earful of politically incorrect and factually inaccurate propaganda.

Generally, you get the boot when corporate interests are offended and they no longer sponsor the show.

At one point, good old Rush Limbaugh said cigarettes are not addictive and they are not harmful to your health. The list of factual errors reported by him is stunning, however, his views are generally very supportive of the direction of the weathy and the powerful conservatives.

Hello! You can still be a racist pig and have a huge contract as a talk show host! You might get into trouble if you target a highly respected team of minority players and call them prostitutes (or equivalent), however.

Generally, you will only get pushed out of your talk show if you act out to the extent that a well-organized minority decide to picket the sponsor and boycott products. The ouster of Inman and his estimated $10 million per year contract was because the sponsors finally abandoned him although they had kept with him during his many years of racial slurs.

It cuts both ways. Remember that Bill Maher was beat up badly for saying that the 9/11 terrorists exhibited courage.

You have been loose to jot down this weren't you, could you go with to stay in a rustic that locked you up for asserting the incorrect element, what's the incorrect element? the genuine subject is that ppl have forgotten common morals, values, honesty and accountability for what they say and have little to no concern for others.

I think that political correctness has completely undermined the rights of certain groups of individuals, most importantly PARENTS. Derogatory comments should not be made, period. That is common sense. But do we really have to politicize EVERYTHING?

Because when you control speech you control the people. It's really as simple as that. The government wants you under their thumbs.

I DON'T have to be politically correct. I REFUSE to be politically correct. Some people call that intolerant. They can't seem to tolerate ANY standards.

perhaps because this is (at the pinacle of it's idealism) a nation of compromise and accomidation. conservatives struggle to legally shut you up. liberals struggle to socially shut you up. think independently and do what you know to be right. you won't be popular; but, people will want to know what you do.
