Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."

--Hermann Goering(1893-1946) Commander-in-Chief of the Luftwaffe, President of the Reichstag, Prime Minister of Prussia and, as Hitler's designated successor, the second man in the Third Reich.

I can see the parallels...can you?

This has nothing to do with partisan politics, but more importantly concerns the apprehensive direction the leaders of this nation are choosing to follow. For months now I have seen nothing productive come from Washington DC and fear that the remainder of this presidential term will be marred with fallible actions on the part of representatives who have lost site of their true goal ~ representing the HOPES and CONCERNS of Americans.

1. We have now studied three departments of government—the legislative, the executive, and the judicial. Show how each, at times, acts as a check upon the others.

2. Read Articles Four and Six of the Constitution of the United States and show how each provision has helped to "insure domestic Tranquility."

3. Turn to the Constitution and read Article Six carefully. What is the "Supreme Law of the Land"? How has this provision of the Constitution helped unite the states?

4. Why is it important that executive officers, both of the United States and of the several states, be bound by oath or
affirmation to support the Constitution of the United States?

5. What provision found in Article Six of the Constitution helped establish the credit of the United States? How has this provision benefited the United States?

6. Try to learn the amount of the Federal debt. To whom is this debt owed?

me and my Fiancee been working off and on different places for like 5 years now and im 20 years old and shes 21, and we first started out on our own when we were just 17 and 18 years old, we had to get Food stamps to help us with food.

Just recently we had to quit our jobs since the place was being closed down for repairs and we tried to get food stamps again but the place told us that even though we arent' working at the moment that we are not eligible for Food stamps...yes i know people that are Jacked up on Cocaine and other substances and they get like $300-500 worth in food stamps.....Why are we having to live off water for the moment?
We do work..just no one wants to hire right away.

my actual question is..why do the government not want to aid hard working people such as my self and my lady but want to help those that don't want to work and get a buzz every so often?

for alittle info on us....we both are non-smokers and non-drinkers, and no kids.
