This has nothing to do with partisan politics, but more importantly concerns the apprehensive direction the leaders of this nation are choosing to follow. For months now I have seen nothing productive come from Washington DC and fear that the remainder of this presidential term will be marred with fallible actions on the part of representatives who have lost site of their true goal ~ representing the HOPES and CONCERNS of Americans.

Watching congress in action i am convinced that it is the biggest waste of money. these politicians spend countless hours running thier mouths saying nothing that makes sense.
important issues are dealt with with all the speed&urgency grass growth or rust forming. I swear if the hot air from the floor of the house and senate was harnessed, we could heat every house in america all year long.

The Iraq study is in Clinton and Obama went to Iraq to evaluate the situation. The year long Iraq study has reported we need to remove our troops from Iraq. Clinton and Obama spoke to Commanders and Iraq leaders and they want the troops out.

Seems the only persons unwilling to listen to the Iraqi study, Clinton, and Obama, the commanders and Iraq leaders is those reluctant to give up the $124 billion dollars. They probably are the only ones that actually know where the money is really going.

I have not seen 1 single day go by there has not been reported terrorist acts. The only purpose we have served is to destroy property and declare Marshall law on Iraq.

The only Americans the last 7 years has seen is to represent the top 1% richest Americans.

If you think Congress is irrelevant, keep watching. Today's announcement by that idiot in the Oval Office has let loose what will be a great Constitutional battle.

I have seen it twice - and is just shows how our country works..... Nixon got his and so did the Reagan bunch.

You will learn how our country has survived all these centuries......

Only in the sense that the Constitution requires Congress and that most of the general operation of the government (including all funding, money, and most agencies) require Congressional authorization.

So, no, if you don't want the government to function, there's no need of Congress.
